Vreid Comments On Upcoming Tour With Belphegor And Emancer

Vreid has checked in with the following statement about the band's upcoming tour dates with Belphegor and Emancer:

"Here we go again. 2010 has been a fairly quiet live year for us. We did some amazing shows in the spring; otherwise most of the time has been spend in studio working on the upcoming album. But now we are ready to blow the dust of our uniforms and get back out into the battlefields.

"In October we will do our last run to Europe in support of the Milorg album. The Milorg release has been fantastic for us, this is our 3rd European tour after this album + we have done a full North America tour and loads of festivals. Now we are ready to enter new countries, cities & venues.

"We will do a European tour in the period of 1-16 October with Belphegor & Emancer.We will do 16 shows spread on 12 countries. There are several factors that make us extremely exited about this tour: First of all we are exited to tour countries and cities we have never played before. This includes our first show in Poland, Serbia & Bulgaria ever. Also its our first shows on the Milorg tours in Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia & Hungary.

"Secondly this tour has a killer line-up. As we planed one last tour of the Milorg album, the decision was easy when we were invited by Belphegor's General; Helmuth, to join them as special guests for this tour. We had a great ride with the Austrian machinery through North America last year, and are honoured to once again join forces with them. Also we are very exited to have Emancer onboard as opening act. Emancer is good old friends of us, and in our eyes, one of the most exiting bands from Norway. Having several fantastic releases on their backs, they have mainly been a studio project. But lately band mastermind Mithrin has recruited a great live line-up, and are ready to unleash their madness across Europe.

"Thirdly this tour also marks the release of our first DVD. 'Vreid Goddamnit' will be released at the end of September through Indie recordings. The DVD and new merchandise will of course be available at all the shows. The DVD contains the entire show at the Inferno festival in Oslo 2009 + loads of extra material from tours, studio sessions etc....

"Last but definitive not least this is our first full tour with Strom on guitar. He did some shows with us this spring and has worked hard on the new album with us. Strom is a fantastic guitarist, and will definitive set his mark on our live performance. Allright, that’s it for now. Looking forward to see you all in October."
