Maquiavels Records Set for New Releases
Portugal's Maquiavels Records gears up for new releases:
From the Maquiavel Music camp; "Atmospheric Death metallers, Malevolence has completed work upon the first part of their pre-production material for their long awaited 3rd full-length effort. Titles such as: "Devoured Unlimited", "The Strength Of The Dead Men", "Slithering Angels", "Mechanisms Of Destruction" and "Disobedience", are all ready and prepared for recording on the beginning of 2004. The band is currently in direct contact with Pierre Remillard (Kataklysm, Krisiun, Malevolent Creation, Gorguts, Obliveon) and according to the band there's a mammoth prospect Pierre will work with them both as sound engineer and producer upon the recording procedures for their new album. Works on the 2nd half part of the pre-production will start soon!"
This upcoming album should appeal to fans of classic Moonspell and ironically enough, Malevolence bass player Aires Pereira will be touring with Portugal's moody metallars.
Also coming in September from Maquiavel Music is the debut album from Canadian atmospheric blasters Kralizec, entitled "Origin", it should appeal to fans of Depresy and Garden of Shadows.
On a sour note, avant garde Polish grinders Lux Occulta have ceased all activities after releasing thier well recieved fourth album "The Mother and the Enemy". The band has ceased all interviews, recording activities and live shows, but the label is unable to confirm if the band has broken up or is taking an extended break.
