Hopeless Records is releasing a limited-edition vinyl pressing of "Nightmare," the new Avenged Sevenfold album that hits the street July 27. The Deluxe Edition of the set contains two blood red discs on 180g-vinyl in a double-gatefold package. Only 2,500 of the Deluxe Edition will be produced, and the sets will be numbered. A Standard Edition containing two discs on standard-weight vinyl will also be available.
The vinyl editions will arrive in late September. The pre-order packages can be viewed at Hopeless Records.
"Nightmare" is Avenged Sevenfold's fifth album, and its last one to contain material from drummer James "the Rev" Sullivan, who died of an accidental drug overdose Dec. 28. Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy stepped in to complete the material Sullivan had written for the album. Avenged Sevenfold is co-headlining the inaugural Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar tour, which runs Aug. 17-Oct.
