Silent Civilian Planning "Haunting The Masses" Tour Dates
Silent Civilian has announced an upcoming fall headlining run dubbed the “Haunting The Masses Tour” with The Autumn Offering and Destrophy as support. The trek kicks off on August 27th and ends on September 29th and also marks the group’s first official headliner in support of the new album, "Ghost Stories."
Guitarist/vocalist Jonny Santos commented: “I want to say that the ‘Fear Campaign’ tour was amazing! I am very proud and privileged to have been part of such an amazing metal tour. I want to thank Dino, Burt, Gene and Byron for allowing us to be on the tour. It was absolutely an amazing experience. I've had the pleasure of touring with FF in the past several times, and they never disappoint. I also want to thank all of the Prong guys for being super cool and amazing every night, as well as our very new, good friends in Thy Will Be Done.
"Those guys are awesome and heavy as balls. We had the pleasure of supporting All That Remains for five dates of this tour and that was just as amazing. They are some of the most genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure of sharing the stage with. Plus we got fuckin’ hammered with them every night. They know how to party. I really want to thank all of the fans for coming out to support ALL of the bands. You guys make it possible for metal to continue on. Overall, the tour was a complete success and will have a place in my heart forever.
"I am also very pleased to announce the ‘Haunting The Masses’ tour. It will be featuring Silent Civilian with The Autumn Offering and Destrophy as support. I am looking forward to this tour as I feel it is a good solid package in the sense that there is something there for all metal heads. It will be a full North American tour starting on Aug 27th in Phoenix and wrapping up in Los Angeles on Sept. 29th. It is going to hit every major U.S. market as well as many secondary markets. Tourdates will be posted soon. Also, due to the high ticket prices of festival tours this summer, we will be keeping the ticket price for this tour under 20 dollars.
"We want the people who can’t afford to spend 75 bucks for a lawn ticket to be able to go see a good metal show this summer. LOW DOUGH! Plus, there will be many giveaways on the tour, such as a signed guitar by all of the bands, meet and greets with the bands and giveaways from the tour sponsors. Please check our MySpace page daily for tour dates, as they will be added every day. Well, I think that about covers everything for right now, so I want to thank our fans for their undying support and we can’t wait to see you guys on the road.”
Information on the specific dates and venues will be announced as they are made available. Silent Civilian will also be shooting a video for "Atonement" in Los Angeles with director Scott Hansen (A Day To Remember, Alesana, Carnifex) who also directed the band's last video for "The Last One Standing."
