Whitechapel Announces "A New Era Of Corruption" Album Chart Positions
Knoxville, Tennessee's Whitechapel has entered Billboard Magazine's Top 200 Chart at #43 with just under 10,700 albums sold of the band's latest album "A New Era of Corruption." The album also debuted at #2 on the Hard Music Core Stores Chart, #3 on the Independent Albums Chart, and #5 on the Hard Music Albums Chart. In addition to breaking the charts in the states, "A New Era of Corruption" also charted in Canada coming in at #70 on the Current Albums chart, #9 on the Indie chart, and #8 on the Hard chart. "A New Era of Corruption" marks the band's 3rd full-length album and 2nd for Metal Blade Records.
The band comments on the success of the album: "We are excited to have charted on the Billboard 200 again, this time with the release of A New Era of Corruption and are thankful for all of our amazing fans who supported us and bought the CD. Whitechapel's first production video for the track "The Darkest Day of Man," directed by David Brodsky of MyGoodEye and featuring animation by David Brodsky & Tim Kellen, will go live this Thursday.
