My Dying Bride In the Midst of Recording

My Dying Bride are holed up in Academy Studio's recording the follow up to The Dreadful Hours. No title as yet, but as the band recently celebrated their 13th anniversary the working title is The Thirteenth Chapter. Early reports describe the new material as “dark and very twisted”. An October 20th release through Peaceville has been scheduled.

In live news, My Dying Bride will celebrate the release of their new album with a Halloween show at London’s Astoria. The band also take a couple of breaks from recording in July to play the With Full Force Festival in Germany on July 6th, The Skeleton Bash Festival in Austria on July 26th and the Sziget Festival in Hungary on July 31st.
