Dark Tranquillity has posted the following message on their official website:

"That's right folks! Eyjafjallajökull willing, we'll leave our home town of Gothenburg tomorrow to embark on a massive headline trek taking us through the US, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. We've spent a lot of time and effort preparing and rehearsing for these shows and we intend to bring you nothing less than supreme D.T. performances in each and every city.

"This is a very important tour for us, so make sure to bring all your friends, spread the word and show up early in order to see the excellent support acts. All venues are now confirmed, so the complete tour itinerary can be found below. A message from mr. Stanne follows:"

No Vancouver date, passed over for Spokane again! What is it with metal bands and Spokane? The Knitting Factory is a great venue but come on! Van city has more than enough metal heads for DT.
