12312: Nice screen name. First of all, I don't find them they find me. Secondly, how can you expect me to take you seriously if you don't tell me to "grow up" or to "get out of my mothers basement"? Come the fvck on!!! Lastly, it's not spam, it's an opinion of which I am allowed to express on a website on which I am a member.

to everyone that doesn't like bullet: i've been understanding now y all of the dislike towards bullet for a few months now lol i'm not joining ur "bullet sux/bullet isn't metal" group, but i'm just not apart of the same crowd as post #5. i like them like i like cake. if i go to a party, and then there's cake, then i'll have SOME, but if there isn't any, well, it's ok, kuz there's REAL food to eat like bbq and probably beer too.

i just can't dig metalcore. i don't like the way people deny being metalcore... metalcore is like the emo of metal. emo bands often refute claims that they are emo. same with metalcore. if they don't like being called that they shouldn't play that kinda music!
metalcore is the metal that really became big in the 00s, like thrash did in the 80s. imho metalcore's got nothing on thrash. what will the 10s bring?

I'm with Blindgreed on this one. They ripped of Slayer and Burzum, then made both songs singles...no forgiving that. They also recycle they're own riffs and if you haven't noticed, them and Killswitch LOVE to "borrow" riffs from each other. Its not even metalcore anymore, its Rockcore. Radio Rock+Melodic Metalcore=Rockcore.(Bullet, A7X, Atreyu, ect.) No one can tell me any different, as even THEY admit this. When people start acknowledging these bands for what they are, ill stop ripping on them. Thats why you never hear me talk too much sh** on Deathcore, i hate it just the same, but at least its acknowledged and the word metal isn't used in the genre :)

tho i do like those bands cowboy mentioned, i, for one, will agree w/ EVERYTHING he said. and i've been thinking that for awhile now while listening to them. alotta riffs sound alike, between albums, the band themselves, and even other bands too. it's a new trend and it's spreading like wildfire. in an article a LONG time ago, i talked about it too cowboy, only i called it "pop metal" lol but "rockcore" seems much more suitable.

THANK YOU Hellrat and n0thinghead! Im honestly not even trying to be cruel to these bands, just trying to get the word out on the sub-genre they've created, as i see a HUGE difference between bands like As I Lay Dying and Unearth (Metalcore bands), and Rockcore bands, but they're never differentiated. I'd say it started with A7X's "Bat Country" becoming a huge radio staple, and now its to the point where we have bands like Five Finger Death Punch coming right out of the gate as a Rockcore band. Some may even throw All That Remains in that basket now with songs like "Two Weeks" on they're newest album. Diamond Oz started the change here on MU when he started labeling some of these bands as "Hard Rock" bands, but thats not quite accurate either with they're metalcore roots and sound. Lets get the Rockcore word out and be the site that created the terminology of a sub-genre!
Oh and top stay on topic, Bullet has this whole concert streaming online for anyone interested. My girlfriend is having a holiday with it as we speak, which is why I am on the other computer communicating with my metal brothers here instead :)
