Nightrage Issues Tour Road Report

Greek metallers Nightrage have checked in from the road with the following tour report:
"Hey people! Orestis Skotadi (Olof Morck :) ) here with a brand new tour blog from our Greek metal odyssey!
"We've had a few very lovely days here in sunny Greece, starting with our show in Agrinio; we started off the day with a drive through the Peleponnesian countryside, gazing in awe at the breathtaking scenery of the coastline of ancient Peleponnesos. Agrinio is a sleepy little town, and we were playing on a Sunday, but still we had our best show so far there, a big thanks to all the crazy metal heads of Agrinio coming over to rock out with us! Nightrage is without a doubt the first northern European metal band to play Agrinio, something we're proud of!
"Next up on the tour was Heraklion on sunny Crete, and we were greeted by 25 c, shining sun and the great Cretan locals, all doing their utmost to make our stay a lovely one! Show was really good, even though it was the last day of a three-day Greek holiday, and most Greeks were home curing their hangover :) We were staying at a lovely little hotel right next to the beach, so next day we got the chance to hang out on the beach, and feel of the warm sand and the slightly cool ice-blue Mediterranean on our feet! Something quite amazing, considering Sweden is till deep frozen and covered with snow. After that, we once more had an amazing drive, this time through the Cretan countryside, with it's rolling hills, snow-capped vast mountains and picturesque olive groves all making an unforgettable impression on us!
"Even more marvelous was arriving in the old town of Chania, the next town on the tour, and we were accommodated in the beautiful old town, built by the Venetians in the 17th century, right next to the old harbor. This place is just beyond words, as it's a perfectly preserved Venice in mini format, and walking through it's winding alleys easily conjured up pictures of times bygone. By far the best accommodation we've ever had with this band, staying at a genuinely furnished 17th century venetian house with several floors, double jacuzzis, all complete with bottles of local Cretan wine :) Again, life does not suck in Greece.
"The show was played at a typical tourist bar, definitely a different place for a metal show, but with the crazy local metal heads of Chania, it was still a great experience! Today has been a nice day off, hanging out in the old town of Chania, eating great local food and all the typical tourist stuff, and then traveling back to Athens - and now we're getting some rest here in archaic Athens, and getting ready to invade Lamia tomorrow! We'll be back soon with another tour diary for you crazy people! Cheers!"
