In a recent interview with Australian webzine Inside Out, Trivium bass player Paolo Gregoletto revealed that the band are currently planning to write more than an albums worth of new material and to head to the studio this summer. An excerpt from the interview reads as follows:

Inside Out: You guys are no doubt already in writing mode for the next album?

Gregoletto: Well, we’ve been writing and rehearsing a couple of new songs in our normal rehearsals, its well on the way! We are moving very quickly with it, we are going to write and record way over an albums worth of material. We are going to do way more than we have to so if games, movies or TV shows come up we will have new exclusive music for them. We will probably record in the summer… I think that’s the goal."
