Ex-Megadeth Guitarist Jeff Young and Co. Create the Beyond Total Anarchy Forums
Less than two days ago, BeyondTotalAnarchy was created by Ex-Megadeth guitarist, Jeff Young and a collective of artists, music fans and web designers. When talking to Jeff Young, he explained to me it was more than just music; it was about initiating global connectivity between artists, fans, media and anyone curious about music and the impact it has on life in general. Kind of like in the era of the "Political Machine," during the days of President Teddy Roosevelt and Taft, this forum was made in a sense to unite. To fight "Bob," or in this case the big labels.
The new Beyond Total Anarchy forum is the creation of a duo of savvy web designers, a band of passionate music fans and renowned guitarist, Jeff Young. The initial idea has been on the back burner for awhile and only recently manifested itself after the demise of the most popular forum on the official Megadeth.com boards. Since that unfortunate decision was made for “mysterious” reasons, many forum goers were left without a home. Other message boards were created to fill the void, but proved to be all “smoke and mirrors”. The premise for BTA is to provide a common ground for fans and musicians alike to converge and share thoughts and ideas. While sites like MySpace, Facebook and Twitter allow you to grow your fan base or friend list, they do not allow for more meaningful interchange between users. While music is the common ground for the majority of the registered users, BTA is much more than the typical “music forum”. Of course, there are the expected band specific and general music discussions - but there are also threads about Spirituality, Health & Wellness, Film, Literature, Love, and even a guitar lesson thread where Jeff and his fellow guitar virtuoso peers offer advice to up & coming guitar players. BTA is also intended as a promotion tool for a camaraderie of bands to share fan bases and reach out to an “online audience” worldwide.
Since its inception a mere 48 hours ago, BTA has already accumulated 50 users by simple word of mouth. The site has also garnered the participation and support of key internet based radio and webzine outlets. Those who are looking for stimulating conversation, or just want a cool place to hang are welcome to join up. BTA is the new place to be.

This is ridiculous, where are you people getting this information? When TA went down 2 sites appeared almost instantly, Jeff Young joined both communities and quickly ended up making an embarrasment of himself, UFORADAR clearly wasn't interested and NTA outright told him to shut up. Within a day he has this joke of a website up aiming to steal the whole of the original community which he had no involvement or interest in the first place. This is an absolute joke, the guys turned himself into laughing stock from his former fans by clearly and pathetically jumping on the attention he got from his original statement, quite obviously loving hearing his name being mentioned next to Megadeth. This site is headed nowhere, people are joining to watch the trainwreck roll on and see what this nutjob is saying next, thats all. You'll find the old TA community very alive and well at UFORADAR, which was the main offshoot forum long before Jeff opened his trap and lost us the original. Oh, and his team is one guy, some paedophile called "Metal Chris".

"So Far So Good So What" is one of my very favorite Megadeth records, & I have nothing but appreciation for that lineup. It's so unfortunate to see Jeff go out this way, being mocked on like what, 3 different sites forums now? He should've said what he wanted to say initially and then gone on with his life, instead of alienating so many old fans. It's not like he was getting angry responses from the Megadeth camp that I've read; why is he still going on about it?
