  • HardRadio reports that guitarist Mike Wead (Mercyful Fate) has replaced Glen Drover (Eidolon) on King Diamond's next album, which will reportedly be 'Abigail Part II - The Revenge'.
  • Demons & Wizards touring guitarist Ritchie Wilkinson is replacing Angel Dust's guitarist Bernd Aufermann for the duration of the current US tour with Nevermore and Opeth.
  • Yngwie Malmsteen has signed on vocalist Mark Boals for the current tour. The drummer vacancy has been filled by Tim Donahue, who plays drums for the pop swing band Cherry Poppin' Daddies.
  • Warlord drummer Mark Zonder (Fates Warning), guitarist William Tsamis (Lordian) and keyboardist Diane Kornarens have reunited to revive this classic metal act. Joacim Cans (Hammerfall) has been invited into the fold as vocalist.
  • Meatus, the Dallas noise opera band, has replaced drummer Erik with Jason Hooton (Dead Industry). The band is currently working on a four-song EP to shop to labels.
