Beatallica - Check Them Out, Download Their MP3s!
I was recently pointed to a site for Beatallica and I just had to pass it on! As the site says, the band plays "Beatles tunes, done Metallica style". I was not only surprised at the quality of the production (not great, but not bad), but also of the creativeness in the songs themselves. They have a total of 7 songs online to download in mp3 format. The songs on their site are:
- Sgt. Hetfield's Motorbreath Pub Band TAB
- A Garage Dayz Nite
- For Horsemen
- No Remorseful Reply
- The Thing That Should Not Let It Be
- Everybody's Got A Ticket To Ride Except For Me And My Lightning
- ...And Justice For All My Loving
If I were to review these songs, they'd get a higher rating than the last couple Metallica albums! You better go download these tracks while they're available (before the lawyers are sicked on them)...
UPDATE: The main site linked above is bogged down for downloading, so try the mirror - it's not up to date on the news, but much faster for downloading the mp3s.
