Withering Surface Update

Withering Surface played five succesful gigs in Germany with support bands Iniquity and My Cold Embrace. You can read an indepth tour report and check out some cool photos on their website.

WITHERING SURFACE CANCEL SWEDISH GIGS

Due to the fact that the new drummer, Lukas Meier, got ill after the German tour (with a kidney stone), they had to cancel two Swedish gigs at Belsepub (Gothenburg) on the 2nd of May and on the 3rd of May at the Sparbankshalle in Sunne. This is the first time in the history of Withering Surface to cancel gigs!

ICHOR MCD OUT NOW

On Monday the 5th of May WITHERING SURFACE's new MCD "Ichor" was released in a limited edition of 1000 copies in a deluxe digipack. The tracklist for the album includes five songs:

Superior Seed (taken from the Walking On Phantom Ice recording session)
The White Path (taken from the Walking On Phantom Ice recording session)
Forever Fragile (recorded as bonus track for the Japanese version of The Nude Ballet)
Fading Mask (only released in the limited edition 7"ep Forever Fragile (200 copies))
WhoreBride (Live recording from the Roskilde Festival)

At this point they only have few copies left, so hurry up if you want to order it (10 EUR/10US$/70DKK including postage and packing).

THIS AND THAT...

Withering Surface will be busy recording demo/pre-recordings in May and June for our upcoming album, due to be recorded in the Berno Studio (Malmö, Sweden) in July and August.
