are you guys kidding? this is exactly what metallica needs..........a reunion album with flemming rasmussen. though they can't possibly compare with "ride the lightning", "master" and "justice" have always been critically acclaimed metallica albums! i say bring rasumussen back into the fold for a new studio album.

spiral, you're right. Those are the best sounding Metallica albums. Bob Rock made them sound like a commercial pop band and Death Magnetic sounds absolutely horrible! "The loudness war" at its worst!

Rasmussen would probably help them make an amazing album if he were on the next album.
All the albums after Justice weren't bad per say,but they definitely were not anywhere near thrash.

an enter sandman shirt? i would consider that new school metallica. i prefer the older stuff from "kill" to "master", branded.

Branded, no luck with the shirt, sorry. Its only stupid ninja logos, pushkin ripoff graphics and shirts with their ugly grinning faces now. Shame
