Hey, ah.... Devin, is it? Get in the octagon and prove that you're the better man.
What? You couldn't take the months of training it would take JUST to get to the amateur ranks? "Fag" or not, at least he's the one getting the fanfare and the opportunity to fight (not to mention what's got to be a nice paycheck at the end of the week) as opposed to just being some scrub posting crap on the web.

It's interesting all the people who think Florian can't win this. I think Florian and Sanchez are a tier of their own above everyone else in the class. Unfortunately I think BJ Penn is in his own tier to himself, and won't be beat by either of them. Someone who can stand and strike and is a black belt in bjj is simply hard to overcome.
I like watching Guida fight - he pushes a relentless pace - but he couldn't beat Sanchez in his first fight since cutting weight (impacts your strength and cardio) and I don't think he'll beat Florian. I'm surprised they put this fight together in the first place really.

That human c*** fighting line is old and stale and is only used by those who don't know what MMA stands for. The concept behind it is no different than boxing, MMA just has more dimensions to it. The days of the brawlers in the sport are numbered and you see a lot more well rounded fighters these days.
So to bring this discussion back to metal. Can anyone name some fighters that walk out to metal or are into metal? I read that Tamden McCrory was into metal. But other than the theme music (Stemm), I don't hear a lot of fighters come out to metal music, and I don't remember the ones that have anymore.

^^^That is awesome! I never heard of the guy but he is down in my book.
I don't really follow the UFC that much, just watch it whenever a friend will pay for it, but I have to agree with Deathbringer when he says that the human c*** fighting argument is worn out. I have respect for the training that these dudes go threw day in and day out, and there is a large amount of discipline that the participants of this sport must exhibit. Since MMA has blown up alot of douches are into it now, but that happens whenever anything, be it art or sports, gets commercial.
