Castrofate Issues Studio Recording Update

New York thrashers Castrofate have issued the following recording update:

"Hey everyone, just an update on what's going on, we'll be in Florida tomorrow working with James Murphy in pre-production for the new album. The focus right now is doing this record which is pretty much costing everything the band has right now, so we've had to put off playing shows until the record is finished. We've had some offers to open up for bands like Life of Agony and Otep in some ballrooms, and although I don't feel we'd fit with any of those kinds of bands, we always wanna play shows no matter who's on the bill, but unfortunately we couldn't afford those shows, everything's going into this new record. Following the record we'll be shooting a few music videos, and booking tours for the rest of 2010 and into 2011. So that's whats going on right now, working hard on the new music. See you all on tour next year!!"
