Chinese Democracy in the Fall?
Guns n' Roses' perennially-delayed "Chinese Democracy" CD will finally surface this fall, according to guitarist Richard Fortus.
Speaking to www.andersonguitars.com, Fortus said that the band are expected to hit the road shortly following the album's release, which has been repeatedly pushed back by frontman Axl Rose, a notorious perfectionist who is said to be rarely satisfied with his work even under the most inspired of circumstances. Rose is believed to be currently finishing up the vocal overdubs for the CD, which will feature the band's first new music since "Oh My God", the group's contribution to the soundtrack to the 1999 movie "End Of Days".
Guns n' Roses' last studio album was a covers album, "The Spaghetti Incident?" , which was released in 1993.
