Rammstein Album "Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da" To Be Banned From Public Display In Germany

Billboard.com is reporting that Rammstein's new album "Liebe ist Für Alle Da" will be banned from public display in Germany. Excerpts from the article follow:
The album "Liebe ist Für Alle Da" ("Love is For All") by German hard rock group Rammstein - currently at No. 2 on Billboard's European Albums Chart - has been banned from public display in German stores with effect from Nov. 11 on account of its depictions of sadism/masochism, which have been deemed to be harmful to children and young people.
Announcing this ruling, Petra Meier, the deputy president of the Federal Office for the Examination of Media Harmful to Young People, cited the track "Ich tue Dir Weh" ("I Want to Hurt You") as well as the artwork showing guitarist Richard Kruspe with a masked, naked woman on his knees. The Federal Office objected to the fact that the track includes lines such as "Bites, kicks, heavy blows, nails, pincers, blunt saws - Tell me what you want."
The German Federal Office for the Examination of Media Harmful to Young People in Bonn also criticized the single "Pussy," stating that it incites listeners to engage in unprotected sexual intercourse despite the risk of AIDS, although the single was not officially part of the ruling banning the album.
As a result of the ruling, the 11-track Universal album may no longer be advertised or placed on open exhibition in such a way that may be accessed by young people and children under the age of 18 years.Read the full article at Billboard.com.

I´m a bit suprised by these news. As someone who lives 90% in Berlin, there´s hardly been anything that major mentioned in the press, apart from the usual "oh no, Rammstein again, yack!" stiffos. On the other hand, Rammstein has literally been under the magnifying glass of the german censors ever since "Buch Dich".
Oh, and it looks like I´m one of the few who doesn´t like the new album. Shame, cos I wanted to like it. But I dont

Federal Office for the Examination of Media Harmful to Young People....seriously?
Oh come on! They are just like Type'O, none of it is to be taken seriously, just poking fun at how ludicrous we as a species really are! Don't these do-gooders realise they're simply playing right into the band's hands?
Well done though, should raise sales when little Johnny wants to find out what all the fuss is about!

This 'Federal Office for the Examination of Media Harmful to Young People' are lookin at this way too hard. Lots of albums by different genres (rap and pop come to mind) "suggest" stupid things. Why not just ban everything? ... Exactly. Besides, it's not like people under the age of 18 who know of Rammstein are going to take the lyrics or the visual seriously.
