how can you say that the band that came first sounds like the band that came second?? thats kinda retarded imo this sounds like fear factory no more no less. and of course it sounds over produced and polished the whole point of fear factory production work is to get as close as they can to a "machine" type of sound. if you want a jam band sound go listen to phish. if you want to be hit over the head with a f***ing 10-ton machine listen to this..with that being said i think the music sucks but thats why i dont like it not because of all the unimportant bs... music first bs later..and its funny how no one says sh** about genes drumming in SYL or death or anything else for that matter. give him quality production and everyone acting like raymond could of done better????

Yeah i agree with most... this is new?
Its sad to say... FF is getting old. Especially, dare i say, Dino's riffs.
Boring. Obsolete destroys this, along with every other album besides hatefiles.
Im sad now. I was expecting something new and different like archetype offered.

A lot of people are complaining that the drums sound like a drum machine and they sound mechanical. They're supposed to. But, that being said, it's not always good, especially in this case.
I don't really care for it, it seems boring, but I've heard worse. I guess I'll have to hear some more tracks from it before I decide if I'll pick it up or not.

I think it sounds good. I feel it is back to their roots. A lot heavier, I like Burts vocals, drums are nasty, guitars are FF. I'm very happy with what they have presented. If you look at what Raymond and COW did with the new stuff they wrote it was definately not like this.
