Brazilian metallers Shadowside have issued the following tour report about their recent U.S. tour dates:

"September 18 - Indianapolis. Now this is a city that will always be in my heart. Don't kill me, I love all the cities I visit! But Indy represents the start for SHADOWSIDE in the U.S. It's the first place we ever played in North America. That was in September 2007, when we played Indianapolis Metal Fest. From that day on, we became supporters of the festival, no matter what happens, just like we became supporters of Flight of the Valkyries festival. Rob Mason from IMF and Nathan Block together with Bobbie Jeans from FoTV are people who helped us back then (and still do).
At first, we were scheduled to play in Kokomo, IN but it changed to Indianapolis and we had a chance to share the stage with Betrayed with a Kiss, Rob's band. They are VERY cool so make sure you check them out!

"It was a shame that we didn't get to hang out around Indianapolis as we got there quite late and had to head straight to the venue. Hopefully next time. However we sure felt welcome once again as our fans and friends from Indiana have been nothing but great from day one! We had lots of sound problems and it's very easy to lose focus when you can't hear yourself or even worse, when you know the sound isn't what it should be for people. Lucky for us, they were all extremely supportive and rocked the place with us so we could say "fuck it" and get on with the Metal madness! We had an awesome time with everyone and they sure made it clear to us that they were having FUN!

"After the show we got to hang out with the bands but unfortunately we had to head back to the hotel way earlier than we wished to. We had some crazy plans for the weekend since we would play Stoughton, WI on Saturday and then drive over 10 hours from there to Pittsburgh, PA for the grand finale: a special show at Hard Rock Cafe, booked due to the crowd's demand for a second show in the Pennsylvania area. Again, don't kill me... I do remember we received a TON of requests to play NY and NJ on this tour, as well as other states. That's what we WILL do next year so you can start preparing for the Hurricane right now! Ok back on track...*laughs* since we would have to drive for so long we decided it would be best to drive right after the show and sleep until the load in time on Sunday... so we figured we should sleep the whole day on Saturday to make it possible. The solution we found was to drive to Wisconsin right after the Indy show. So after shower and dinner, off we go to Stoughton. Tired but extremely happy and looking forward the insanity of the road trip combined with the adrenaline of the remaining shows.

"Do you REALLY think we slept in the car...? Well, we did *laughs*. We were leaving the party to the end...! Tomorrow - Stoughton, WI!"
