Beyond the Embrace Writing Next Album
Beyond the Embrace have issued the following band update through their website:
“We're all really excited about opening the second half of the Opeth/Lacuna Coil tour. A lot of us have been huge Opeth fans for a long time, as well as Lacuna Coil fans. I'm sure we'll all have a blast on that tour and make some new fans and friends in the process.
We'll also be performing at the Obey the Flame Festival in Montreal Canada on the 25th which is the day after the last date of the Opeth tour, so we're gonna have to drive from Virginia to Montreal within one night's time but we've have to pull off worse driving trips than that, so we're confident we'll have a great time. Others bands at the Fest are Strapping Young Lad, Pissing Razors, & Misery Index just to name a few. It should be a very cool show; it's also the first time we'll have played a show outside of the U.S.
We've been in the process of writing some new songs for our second album, which we'll hopefully be recording within this year. Our new songs are coming along amazingly. I think we've really progressed as a band and as songwriters and I'm positive that people are going to really dig the next BTE album.
