Amorphis to Play Special Show on 4/20

Amorphis will play a special, one-off gig at Senssi club in Tampere, Finland on Sunday, April 20. The band will premier some of the brand new material which is set to surface on the upcoming "Far From The Sun" album and will perform a number of their old classics from their previous recorded efforts. Also set to appear are Viikate, a Finnish group who reportedly play simple melancholic metal/hard rock with Finnish lyrics.

"Far From The Sun", Amorphis' sixth studio album, is due in Finland on May 20 through EMI subsidiary Virgin Records. The album's first single, "Day Of Your Beliefs", will surface later this month. A U.S. release date for the album has yet to be announced.
