Korn's Fieldy Organizes "A Song For Chi" With Other Band Members

Band Photo: Slipknot (?)
As you may know, Chi Cheng, bass player for the Deftones, is currently in a semi-conscious state following an automobile accident in Santa Clara, CA on November 4th, 2008. Chi is slowly making progress but he needs your help.
Fieldy has organized an amazing cast of musicians from Machine Head, Metallica, Korn, Hatebreed, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, Sevendust and more to record an epic song for Chi.
You can help support Chi and his family by heading over to the A Song For Chi site where you can download your free copy of the song, watch the music video and make a donation. 100% of your donation will go to Chi and his family to help cover his ongoing medical expenses.
"A Song For Chi" featuring Jim Root (Slipknot), Sid (Slipknot), Ray Luzier (Korn), Fieldy (Korn), Dave Mc Clain (Machine Head), Robert Trujillo (Metallica), Clint Lowery (Sevendust), Morgan Rose (Sevendust), Brian "Head" Welch (formerly of Korn), Munky (Korn), Wayne Lozinak (Hatebreed), Wuv (POD), Mike Wengren (Disturbed) and Adam Dutkiewicz (Killswitch Engage). The song was produced by Fieldy (Korn) and Q (Stillwell), engineered by Q (Stillwell) and Ralph Patlan, and mixed by Jim "Bud" Monti. The video, which can be seen below, was directed by Sébastien Paquet.

no, #3 is irrelevant. we're talking about an important cause here and he's trying to hijack the thread into another boring metallica argument and hopes wankers like you will give him praise for his apparent 'wit' ie. the same msg he pasted on every youtube channel to do with metallica..
ps. you look like mustaine's ugly 2nd cousin or some sh**.

^4QS...as brutal as that looked i had to admit i lol to that
This is a great cause, to put aside any differences and to come together in need of a friend is always a great thing, no matter if you love or hate the bands that are involved...not a huge deftones guy but wish the band and chi nothing but the best and a successful recovery
I know this is news and some of us are thinking that it's really cool of the guys who got together to do this, but that doesn't do anything...
I think we should all send this link to someone/some people we know who may be willing to help out, if not, maybe they can send the link to other people; it may not work but it's worth a shot.
I met up with him last Thursday, he's a hell of a lot healthier than the last time I saw him. He's also better live now that he's off the meth. I say good on Head. I don't subscribe to his religious ideals, but it's keeping him alive and hey, who am I to judge a man?

Bg thats good to hear, as long as he has his head screwed on straight he could look like teenwolf, i wouldnt care...... just seeing him and this new look threw me off...im always a big supporter of anyone who goes to find his faith, no matter what it is or how old they are...every man should have a faith in life, no matter what religon it is
Made a donation. Deftones were a major band for me in highschool (and today) and Chi was one of the bassists that steered me toward the instrument. Somehow I'm glad theres no vox.
Not a Korn fan but Fieldy's a helluva a guy for putting this track together--as are the contributors.

So thats where my tax dollars are going .... to people like blindgreed who are welching off us hardworking, taxpaying citizens so they can sit in front of a computer all day and make sarcastic wise cracks to us law abiding citizens.....that pissses me off....
LMAO
Yo bg, the blindgreed man chowder is that the red or the white?....bg pissing off the masses always makes for great entertainment.....
RTB: All the idiots and fruitcakes are drawn to me like a magnet man. What can I say? I have little patience for people who jump to conclusions about topics they know nothing about. It's my nature to cyber spit in their face when ignorance overides their thought process. Call me crazy...

Mr greed i hear you on that one, alot of times as well people come on and dont know what the MU and the MU family is all about, their are people on hear you can shoot the sh!t with, their are some that have high sarcasim levels like yours truly and just try to have fun, and theirs people that either dont wanna be bothered or just have a chip on their shoulder ... for all new users and or members to come on and bash without knowing the facts, the severity of the situation and not knowing the person thats speaking is just out of line...believe me i know, i came on this site like a trainwreck myself and did the same thing, but part of life is learning from your mistakes, and to either fine tune it or dont do it again

Some people may not like all the guys that took part in this, but I believe what they are doing is awesome. The song may not be everyone's style, but it's thoughtful; it brings attention for a good cause. Way to go guys!
