Chart Attack has an interesting piece that tells about an interaction at a Marilyn Manson autograph session.

"Manson was signing autographs at a meet-and-greet event in Florida recently when Black Dahlia Murder frontman Trevor Strnad reportedly came up to him and yelled, 'Welcome to the freak show!' according to a BANG! Showbiz article printed in the New Zealand Herald.

"The article reports Manson retaliated by writing 'I hate those fucks' on the tablecloth in front of a fan before he got up and said he wanted to "rape" Strnad's face and took a swing at him. Security intervened and no one was hurt."

UPDATE: Lambgoat announced that they emailed BDM and were told that this story is bogus, and that a different member of the band actually said something. Good story all the same, though.

I didn't want to go into it on the article itself, but let's take a look at the two teams. Manson wears full latex and utilizes bizarre walking devices. BDM has nice beards, clever tattoos, and the vocalist has at least 20 pounds on Manson. A careful study of their music videos seem to indicate that they have the power to drink and puke the whole night and keep going. My bet's with Trevor.

this sounded like horshsh** to me just reading the article. Considering I was AT the florida show, and manson was never signing anything at any point in time the whole concert. Black Dahlia though, those guys are awesome. I walked up to get my sh** signed and the guitarist put out his fist and said "pound it" as soon as I walked up. Cool guys the whole lot of em.

One funny thing that DID happen was when me and my friends were sittin down chillin and some over-obsessive Manson fan walked by. He was all "gothed out" with facepaint and tight leather and trenchcoat and the whole nine yards, and like 6 foot five besides, tall as f***, walked by and stared at us like we were freaks. So my friend turned around and pointed at him. "Hey look, it's Franken-goofy!"

His pace noticably quickened as he hid his face in his trenchcoat, trying not to laugh himself, off into the crowd, while we all busted our guts laughing.
