Taproot have currently written 18 new songs and are in the process of selecting a producer for their forthcoming new album which they plan to begin recording in November. Known tentative track titles include:

• "Light Of Life"

Meanwhile, band guitarist Mike DeWolf recently commented on the new material stating:

"We have about 18 songs written and still working on more. This is so important to us and we are very excited about the direction its going in. No one will be disappointed."

The album is expected out early next year through Velvet Hammer/Atlantic.
