DevilDriver Issues Thrash And Burn Road Report
Guitarist Mike Spreitzer of DevilDriver has issued the following road report from the Thrash and Burn tour:
"Thrash and Burn has gotten off to a great start. The first 5 shows have been great and I am looking forward to the next month. The new album is finally out and we have been getting some great feedback from our fans. I am so happy to hear that most of you are totally digging it. We are in Odessa, TX today playing an outdoor club in some brutal heat. Lucky for us the sun will be gone by the time we take the stage. Hope to see you all at the shows."
DevilDriver's latest album "Pray For Villains" was released on July 14th through Roadrunner Records.

Word of advice to the Thrash and Burn promoters: Have one of the hardcore/deathcore/metalcore bands headline. 2008 and 2009's tour stops in AZ were rather embarassing for the headling bands (2008 - Darkest Hour and 2009 - DevilDriver). The little gay boy hardcore dancers leave early because you can't "throw down" to the headlining band.

thedynasty is completely right, went to the tour in corpus christi, the place was packed for the other bands, and then devil driver came on the stage and the p***ies left, major disrepect, i f***ing hated this tour except for DD, but i loved f***ing up the hardcore dancers, what makes them think that they can hit ppl in the face and not expect them to get their a$$ kicked, pointless humanbeings
