Machine Head Guitarist Phil Demmel Collapses On Stage In Finland

Band Photo: Machine Head (?)
Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmell collapsed at the end of the band's set for the Sonisphere Festival in Pori, Finland. Fortunately, Demmell has now fully recovered. The guitarist suffers from a condition called cardiogenic syncope, which means his heart sometimes fails to pump enough blood to the brain, resulting in a black out.

Supastan, I hope you're wrong about thinking that they might let Phil go... Remember what happened LAST time MH let a TRUE musician go? We got their crappy rap-metal era. If they do let Phil go, they better make sure whoever they pick WON'T drag the band into another trendy death-trap... like metalcore... yikes.

they wont conform to radio again it backfired on them way to much... i only think that because this is getting worse and robert stated the doctors are not doing much to help phil at all if they do replace him it wont be permanent unless they find out his condition is going to get gradually worse.... just hope for the best no one said he was leavin it was just the way how flynn was talking about phis condition that made me believe that... rob values phil im sure he would only do it for the well being of phil

How terrifying for the MACHINE HEAD guitarist Phil Demmel to go through this heartwrenching heath condition of fainting/cardiogenic syncope not knowin' when it's gonna strike when performing/or not performing on stage. You can see he/DEMMEL loves his music Career & bandmates Machine Head his very dedicated and it sad that his going through this heartache tragedy - I bet everytime it happens he proberly wonder's where his at when wakes up...'thank goodness his bandmates are there for him. I hope they can find a "true" Docter that gives a damn and founds a solution/and healthy treatment for his well being. Get well, Mr. Demmel your an extraodinary musician: all of you are! Godbless.
