So the entire crowd running form opposite ends of the moshpit and crashin into each other into a giant, formless chaos,...is nowhere near as awesome as telling everyone to sit down, and then jump up?
Not to mention he said he thinks hardcore dancing is cool.
This man is as metal as an air mattress.

I love the wall of death, hardcore dancing/ wannabe mortal combat moves i think i are chickensh!t, especially when majority of fans when confronted after say an accidental knock into you, or your girl or friend tend to run away or get 20 other panzies to come bail them out cause they cant and wont go toe to toe/ 1on1 with you...after a while it gets typical...im not a big fan of hardcore, although i do like a few bands,...but i hate the pit manuvers

LOl f*** that 2 step bullsh**! i hate hardcore dancing they always get in the way of real moshing. and when they hit you in the face cause of it and you smash them bacfk the reaction i always get it "what the f*** guy" anyways.....clown is so useless. go bash ur head of a drum pad with ur stupid clown mask. he literally does nothing for the band, music, society. nothing. hes a huge pile of fat clown poo!

hardcore dancing ruins the metal scene, the only ppl that hardcore dance are p***ies, a couple of years back i would be at a metal show nothing but hardcore dudes moshing including myself and in the present its like the whole scene just turned into p***ies with the hardcore dancing, emo extermination needs to happen

Nothing funny about a spin kick to the torso man i know people who have had ribs cracked and beat the offending scene kid into a pulp for doing it. No one wants a sh!tty karate demonstration at a metal show and I FULLY endorse a violent solution. Nothing like a emo kid a a CC show to straighten him out, they'll think twice before they do it again.

I used to "fight the ninjas" and I'm not a p***y.
But I agree. It has not place at a metal show. It belongs at hardcore shows. Which in turn doesn't have a place for push pits so yeah.
And don't b**** because the "metal" shows you've seen them doing it at are probably deathcore, so you've got no more cred than them idiots if you go and pay money to watch bands like that ruin the metal and hardcore scenes.
And if you're at a hardcore show and it is annoying you then maybe you don't belong there.
Stand at the side like I do if you don't want to get hit.

I've been in fights with people like you.
I think you have no idea what hardcore is. Come to a real hardcore show and pick a fight with someone there. Lose some teeth, get a few black eyes....
Actually go to a Terror show and call the people there p***ies. Be sure to have it filmed too.

^ worlds worst band,...ya and theyll send 30 of there homeboys in the crowd to beat up 1 guy...seen them do it before, they re p***ies.....if they would just shut their fahqn pieholes and just do their set, i wouldnt have a problem...but you cant defend that wiggles, theirs no talent in that and you know it..
I respect your takes usually, but not this one....

I respect your takes usually, but not on this one....put your love for the band aside and look at it subjectivly...have a good day

sc-my friend was at a CC show in Milwaukee. There were a few emo/scene kids there. He pushed one of them into the pit just to see how quick the dude would get pumled...it made me laugh
yeah, Hardcore dancing should stay at hardcore shows, moshing at metal shows...

I like Terror, I know about stuff like that but I don't care, I enjoy the music and message.
And I have clips of a Terror show in Texas, on a dvd and they are doing it there.
And agree with MHD's last sentence too.
fa**ot isn't an insult either, what are you 12?
Also don't believe your claim of going to thousands of shows.
Might not be cool in Texas but its cool to be Republican and hate on people who are different.

this is the most pointless argument I have ever heard. music is a form of expression. if there is some people "dancing" in the pit at a metal show, so what? if there is a mosh pit at a hardcore show who cares? there will always be lame a$$ fights that break out at both b/c of the typical egos, booze, and physicality that generally takes place at either. if you don't like it stay away from it. i've seen converge b/c i love them, not to show off my sweet moves, but if some ppl are starting a pit, good for them. i have seen slayer b/c i love them, if ppl want to dance (which would be comical) so what. relax, its music. enjoy it

oh, and not a slipknot fan but cant deny the fact that they helped bring heavier music back to the masses upon the release of their debut album. that being said, this "clown" character is an idiot. what he say doesnt mean a damn thing to me. he is essentially a back-up dancer (although im pretty sure he writes a lot of their music and is the creative influence in the band) whatever, just dont like him or his band

No offense to anyone who likes hardcore dancing, but save it for the larger venues, please. There's nothing that sucks more than being in a small venue that was only built to hold a few hundred people (which includes no extra standing room), and getting hit in the face because someone else wants to show off their style while other people just came to enjoy the music. This has happened where I live, with girls getting hit in the face because testosterone-filled pricks couldn't keep themselves still long enough.

I get into music just fine without swinging my arms about, thank you. But what I was speaking of was a recent event that I went to (at a church, nonetheless); there were a few bands playing, but the most well-known (and easily the best, regardless) was Becoming the Archetype, and the room I was in could fit maybe two hundred people in it, which was great but didn't compensate for the fact that almost five hundred people showed up, which is rather large for a show in this area, but I must digress at this point. There was literally nowhere else to stand outside of leaving the "building" (which I wasn't going to do) but literally five to ten people had to have their fun, inadvertantly punch a girl who was trying to stand away in the face, and take up space. (Not cool in my book.) I had fun in the circle pit later on, which was large, but I can do without five people hardcore dancing and punching bystanders in the face.

I think everyone that read my post must have accidentaly missed the word "probably". Meaning, Slipknot is NOT the most famous metal band in the world, but amongst them. For those of you that don't know, the word probably does not mean "set in stone", but means something like maybe/perhaps/uncertain.
