As for quality, I like it when Black Metal has low quality (I also like it when Thrash has low quality too). It just creates a mood/atmosphere that you can't get with the clean stuff, no matter what the genre. To me, when something has bad quality, it gives off an enjoyable, filthy sort of feeling. I thought this year couldn't get any better, and now this happens; I will be waiting for THIS one in anxiousness.

Jenny, I have to disagree sweetheart. Imagine Machine Head-The Blackening with low quality sound. Emperor- Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk has some great music buried 8 miles beneath the surface, but it's so hard to hear because of the quality of the sound. I for one like for there to be a nice harmonious blance where every instrument is clearly audible. That way you can hear all the little nuances in the music.

Awesome. I'll be interested to see what he comes up with, even though I've never really loved true black metal.
