I'm looking forward to the new Slayer record and I saw Anthrax on sunday and the new singer was much better than expected. As were the new songs. So after hearing the new material, I'm looking forward to Worship Music. I think out of Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax, Megadeth has the best name for their new album.

United Abominations was a great album! Best since 'Countdown..' People sayin' otherwise obviously haven't listened that much to it, and assumed it was like 'TWNAH' or 'TSHF', when actually it was a killer album with more than 35 freakin awesome solos!!! 'UA' was pure shredfest, and I somehow doubt that the new album will anywhere near as good. Because it seems that Dave needs a good handfull of years between releasing masterpieces. But as any other Droogie, I have hopes..

I'm with Oz; I would like to see the artwork as well.
The two tracks with numbers in em have me curious. It's a good listing, however I think the last part of the 8th track should be scratched out and just be called "The Hardest Part Of Letting Go...". This album is my only reason to look forward to the month of September.

I was really impresed with United Abominations. Much better than I expected. I liked The System Has Failed to be honest and I'm gonna go one step further and admitI liked Risk too. The only album I'm not fond of is The World Needs A Hero but that had some good songs too.

I can't wait...I can't wait. Too many people down on Megadeth. They are awesome and I don't give a f**k what the haters say. They only hate because they're jealous anyway. Hey, isn't there a NIN song called "The Hand That Feeds?" Oh well, I guess that s**t happens sometimes.

Damn...It takes guts to say that man. My thoughts on that album are south of your opinion. On topic, this album is re-summoning the 90's Megadave. I'm not really getting my hopes up for this one though. Too much anticipation can result in complete dissatisfaction.

I must say I like the look of this. All Megadeth albums have their own agenda, own style, I can appreciate them all, including Risk and CW. TSHF was pretty good because it was so obvious that they really wanted to create something good and thrashy as a comeback. I did get a bit annoyed with UA because theme-wise, it's a bit tedious, and while the music is good, there's something missing. You can tell Dave put a f*** load of effort into it but it just sounds to me like he was running out of ideas. Course now there's Chris Broderick, a fresh mind, and Shawn Drover has done nothing wrong to the band, he's awesome. Dave is obviously excited about this record, let's hope it lives up to the hype.

Excellent. #8 sounds like a ballad though.
