Suffocation is currently streaming their entire new album "Blood Oath" online at their MySpace page. "Blood Oath" will be released in Europe on July 3, 2009 and in North America on July 14, 2009.

If my info is correct, I believe the drummer for suffocation invented the blast beat? or at least helped put it into prominenece. Sort of like Van halen. He gets credited with inventing tap-picking, but He just made it popular.
I dont know if they still have that drummer htough, I have to look it up...
Other than that, The title track to this album raped baby-face live. i dont have time to listen to the album right now, but I already promised the guitarist I would buy the damn thing after chatting with him for a bit with my friends, so I can wait.

Easily my favorite Suffo album since Effigy.
Once again proving why they are one of the few tech death bands that actually matter.
Technical without showing off.
Brutal beyond belief.
What makes this better than past releases?
Yes even better than Pierced?
It's catchy and it's memorable.
The best batch of riffs they've come up with since Effigy.
