DF - Yeah, it sucks that they're not headlining though. I haven't really heard a lot of Necrophagist's stuff to really judge though. But I doubt it could be any more brutal than Behemoth's sh1t.
J.x - I've seen a lot of Behemoth's live stuff and I wouldn't necessarily call it weak by far. Nergal puts on some extremely good shows and knows how to work a crowd. I'm not flaming you, however it depends what you listen to.

well, thanx for being civil, some of the threads online just get ridiculous... I'm still thinkgin of goin to the Edmonton show if I have the time & cash... regardless if there's one band I might not be into like deathfreak says can't really beat the price for a day full of metal

CTW, check out Necrophagist as soon as possible. On the double.
Behemoth is my favorite f***ing death metal band ever, but Necrophagist is jizz-inducing.
think Yngwie Malmsteen Death metal. There are more pinch harmonics in some songs thatn Zakk Wylde has on entire albums, and sweeps galore.
Check out the songs, "Mutilate the Stillborn", "To breathe in a Casket" and ESPECIALLY listen to "Fermented Offal Discharge" That song is f***in bonkers, and the solo is boner-inducing. Check em out.

F ucking Slaughter indeed if Behemoth are hosting it. Its a change of pace to see that the band whos running the show is a fvck load better than the other bands and the people won't be turning up just to see the side bands. Though the line up is extremely good aswell, I wouldn't mind sitting through them to see Behemoth. Actually you don't want to hear to what extent I would sit through to hear Behemoth!
