A Death for Every Sin Calls it Quits

After more than three years of existence, including two U.S. tours and a full-length on Alveran Records, Montreal's A Death For Every Sin has apparently broken up. Here's a statement from vocalist Nick:
"Due to numerous reasons, we decided that it was time for us to put this band to rest. We have been together since the summer of 1999 and things just haven't worked out the way we wanted them to. Sadly, this means that we won`t be doing our upcoming European tour. We were looking forward to that but we can`t make it financially. We sincerily apologize to everyone who booked us or wanted to see us. We will, however, be playing one last show but we haven`t decided when. Some of us plan on focusing on another project so keep your eyes open for that in the near future."
