Great News! Too bad that Udo doesn't want to rejoin Accept --- but that's okay. Wolf, Peter and Gaby wrote all of the classic tunes not Udo - so the songwriting team is in place. I like Udo but it's the riff's that made me an Accept fan. All the best to UDO and ACCEPT- GO WOLF!
I dunno. The new guy does it pretty well, but there obviously isnt the same amount of heart in it I hear in the original. The new guy sounds a bit less...dynamic, I guess is the word, but at the same time, you can tell from his voice that he has a bit more capability as far as melody goes than the first singer did.
Him covering their old songs and classics will probably push people off and make them p***ed, but I think hearing new stuff with him using his voice to do what he wants would be cool. New material might make up for not getting the originals 100 percent on cue. Plus, everyone else is still in the band, and the music is what really counts anyway right? the singer is just the band's cheerleader anyway if you really want to look at it. They'll do fine.
I'm hoping they'll release a badass album and create a good chapter in their history. It's always a shame when bands want to get out there and play but because they're missing a member they get crapped on by fans. Udo will be back one day anyway, mark my words. Especially if this album and tour does well.

Mark Tornillo is a very good singer. TT Quick is one of those bands from the 80's that should have been way WAY bigger. I'm not sure Mark has the pipes to pull it off, because the last time I saw TT Quick in NJ (11/07), he wasn't able to hit the screams like he used to. I'll see them, and I'll see U.D.O. when they come around.

you guys are nuts ... no ones gonna be udo ... his voice is so distinct but ..... mark is a great fit ... accept needs to carry on .. and carry on they will with mark .... the new sh** is what counts ... when mark sings the old stuff live .. it will be so freakin loud .. u wont know whos singin anyyway ..mark ... i know you can pull this off.. more than pull it off ... the new stuff will be awesome im sure of it ......now all we need is for dave to get picked up by a national act.. and show the world what they are missing....its a sad day in t.t. quick land ... but .... good luck to u mark ... make us proud....... and dave ... im still pullin for ya to get reconized as well you should be ...

mark is no udo at all!!!!!!! the reason tt quick never made it big is because the 3 members all had attitudes except for walt fortune. walt was cool enough to hang and talk to as a fan. the other 3 were thoght they were gods, while playing in a small club. mark wouldn't even give most fans a high five while the band was playing. i hope they fail.

Mark isn't supposed to be UDO. TT Quick didn't make it big because of the record company stopped supporting them and I'm sure some other mistakes as well. However, at his height Mark Tornillo was a more melodic vocalist than UDO ever was. UDO obviously had his place in Accept for good reason, but one listen to Metal Of Honor should tell you that UDO couldn't pull off what Mark was doing at the time either. Mark could wail with best of them. Both guys were good at what they were doing just each a little different. I hope they put out some great stuff. Only time will tell.

So Tired of people living in the past!!!Udo did what he did with Accept an moved on..Accept is not Metallica..Not a huge fan of Accept but appreciate the music they produced over the years..As far as Mark I've enjoyed his music for the last 25years,He is an amazing vocalist, give the guy a chance first before you knock em.In my eyes I hope this would be a stepping stone for Mark to reach greater heights, like replace Brian Johnson from yes I said it AC/DC..Now that would be a perfect fit!!!An to people that dont know Mark why dont you guys ask the very successful musicians like Zakk Wylde, John "JD" Deservio all the guys from Skid Row,an even Glenn Evans who was Marks original drummer for TTQuick also Eddie Trunk on the talent level Mark has..Kudos to you Mark!!!

To me Accept is UDO, Wolf and, Peter. that being said. Udo's voice is not the same as it used to be. Plus, if nothing else, it would be great to hear Wolf play again. The new guy is definitely no Udo. But then again, neither is Udo. I honestly think the new guy would do a better job on the old stuff than Udo would. Udo, no longer has the high range. I for one have no desire to hear those tunes dropped down in tuning. I'm just glad to see one of the best metal bands ever back together again.. Even if it is without Udo.

Last Input; The reason I heard why TT Quick didnt make it was Johnny Z (Think thats his name)from Megaforce decided to back Metallica instead of Quick..Its was something new "Speed Metal" that Metallica, Anthrax, an all those bands were developing,So Johnny backed the "Something New" an smacked it out of the park...Its all about right place right time in this business an Talent of course..Mark, enjoy it, an do your thing... I had the same negativity said about me joining AA (Central Jersey Big 80's Band)The album critics an positive support fans were the only ones that I cared about, not the Negative people, cause at the end of the day the Die-Hard Accept fans will be there to support..I guarantee thats a greater number than the people that always have something hurtful to say..
In closing: Here's something to ponder.....Music is suppose to be fun,an outlet from all our Bullsh** lives..Not to discourage or frown upon one person or persons keeping us smiling..You go to a show to have fun an forget life's problems for those 3-4 hrs...If you have'nt played in a band or sung one note(outside of the shower)then keep your opinions to yourself an just come enjoy the shows that these bands give us..Give em Hell Mark!!!! Peace JD
JD: While I respect your opinion as a fellow front man. Balls to the Wall was not the right song to introduce MT as the new voice of Accept. They should have just thrown a new one out rather than feeding him to the wolves covering U.D.O. Just one singers opinion.

Blindgreed1:Understood, what Your hearing is a live recording in a studio the first day that Mark was called in JUST to sing some songs for Accept, cause they were no vocals..They were in Long Branch NJ Working on material..an Mark was called in..Im sure you know being a musician, what your hearing is a dry mix of Mark an not all the effects that are put on a singer when recording an album..So yes it sounds dry and not so much up front but he is a very consistant an powerful singer..Lets not speculate an just wait for the new material...BUT, I will give a prediction,No matter what Accept does, all this new material will always be challanged against Balls To The Wall..Which sadley enough shows me,, Thats all the fans cared about..Cause die hards dont like change an will never except growth in there favorite band..No matter how good the new material may be those people will give this a bad review an blame it on Mark...SAD..Peace ..JD

I don't care about new singer...the main thing it's that ACCEPT is back!!!
We just need some time to check new guy, i'm sure he is rock too, it's not so easy to be Udo but he has his own stile i think...so...will see=)))
I live in the country where Accept never been (i think before) 'cause i hope that they will find some time ti visit Ukraine=))))
Accept Rules...they 'R' GODS OF HEAVY METAL=))))

Pretty good news actually. I love a few of U.D.O´s albums during the years, but no accept song are the same with his udo band. I cant really say that Accept will be the same withou udo on vocals, but anyway... A few good riff and refrains will be set for sure.
Pretty tired of UDO playing accept song nowadays. He has a great setlist without accept songs and should keep play his own songs and focus on that. All the great solos and riffs from the accept era should be played by Wolf.
I have listened to Accept and udo for 25 years now and love both bands.
I will definitley give them a chance.
Maybe a tour together later on.
All my best to both bands!!

OF COURSE the new guy isn't udo. He doesn't have to be! He's got a style and a metal voice that's his alone. Have you taken the time to actually listen to the stuff that he's done with TT Quick? Check it out. This guy is going to kick ass! And yes, for alot of us, it's going to be a major change. However, if you are true fan of the MUSIC - you'll have an open mind and be thankful that we've got Peter, Wolf, and the rest of the guys, (including Mark) working their asses off to bring US - the fans - some KICK a$$ ACCEPT music. So shut up - seriously - stop complaining - and let's get friggin excited! ANOTHER ACCEPT TOUR! Has this not been we've been waiting for??? I'll be planning some pre and post show parties for us "true" fans! Soon as we know a schedule - we'll plan the parties!Whooo friggin hoo my friends! This is GREAT NEWS!

...but this will never be the same without Udo.
