Alexi Laiho Issues Statement on Injury

Children of Bodom frontman, Alexi Laiho, has checked in with the following statement regarding his injury:

"Four nights ago I fell out of my bunk in the tour bus and came down pretty damn hard as the driver was taking a sharp turn. It turns out I have a broken shoulder as well as internal bleeding.

"I am going through a great deal of pain every second that I am awake. However, I can still play the guitar and I will give everything I have to try to finish this tour and play every remaining show!

"I would just like to apologize in advance for not being able to move around or sing with my full power at all times and I hope the COB fans understand. What can I say? I'm jinxed! End of story. See you out there."

Children Of Bodom are currently on tour in North America with Lamb Of God until May 15th.

well you can look at this incident in two ways: alexi tough and doesn't want to disapoint the fans
or he is eager to get his money by continuing the tour with a broken arm and not being able to give the fans a 100% show , insted of rescheduling the tour and coming back with full power he wants to get it finnished and grab the $$$

Ok. Thank god you've gone to finland SO much. You will be able to back me up when I say the roads are slick as hell because of the snow and rain on the ground for nearly 3/4 of the year. Seeing as yo drive so much you would know that these are prestine conditions for drifting.

On the other hand I agree with you. He's probably bsing his way through it. I saw COB in Vancouver and it was Alexi's birthday, and you could tell he was pretty hammered.

Actually, if you really want to look at hard evidence, I would say Terminator causes the most accidents. There's three whole movies documenting this very fact. complete disregard for other people on the road, all because they want to buttf*** John Conner. It's not cool man.
