Iron Maiden To Enter The Studio In January

In a recent radio interview, Nicko McBrain, drummer of New Wave Of British Heavy Metal legends Iron Maiden, has revealed that the band will be entering the studio in January to record their fifteenth studio album. McBrain states:
"We have actually booked a studio and I think we’ll kick off in the second week of January with the new record…. As to touring - the end of the year, or definitely 2011. We may actually go out at the end of 2010. Once you’ve got the new album finished and packaged, and the record company’s happy with all the bits and pieces, then you want to go touring."

I too love all of Maidens early albums, but catharsis, give "Brave new world" a shot, it's truly underrated. Same with seventh son (except madness, sounds too commercial) As for there live peformances, saw them again for the fifth time (Ft Lauderdale 4/02/2009) and it was even better than the original "Caught somewhere in time" tour! Bruce's vocals were unbelieveable!!!! Really looking forward to the next album as well as a tour!!!! (By the way, Niko is a "Floridian" now and I'm pretty sure they will put on a few shows here in the sunshine state.) You guys up north may want to make a road trip, lol!!!
