branded: I believe Rick is an old friend of mine by the name of Freddy Lounds. 420hater is more than likely his cyber-buddy "Ace". As Netro pointed out last night; there are many similarities in the posts from the past and present.
godlike/AP1: Morning brothers. Maybe DB is setting up the chatroom? Could be April fools, but he did say he was working on one to debut "soon".
NP: Vigil - LOG

Just droppin in t say maybe DB meant it as ironic - we use these threads as chat ones, but tis news about a crap band. Maybe he hopes tis the last news we ever have about them lol.
Anyway, more than likely i'm wrong, and a chatroom may be set up. But what would I know.

What is korn thinking?......blind greed dont tell me you had a hater too in the past that sounds like me?....your the 3rd guy with a case of paranoia.....cant imagine you having any haters but we all have our skeletons in the closet i guess...is this a conspiracy to f**K my afternoon, and or to get me off the sight? You 3 gotta chill out.....lets talk metal, instead of starting a witchhunt
15. writes:
Rick: Maybe ity's a mistake on my behalf. I don't know and to be honest I don't really care. I don't come here to make enemies. I come here to talk to my metal brethren. Everyone here is cool as a cucumber so carry on...
AP1: Some folks call it a Kaiser blade...

Blind greed you the man, sometimes my sarcasim gets the best of me.....i can be funny though,....anyways itll be hard to ignore ^ NUBBINS because i dont think he respects the members or this site because of all the sh** he starts and talks about people, actually i looked it up going back 3 or 4 days hes been carrying on.....
But out of respect to you BG and this site
Hes non existent to me now......itll be a challenge though anyway movin on........

Oh my lord. Mastodon has completely done it again. This is by far my favorite album. If you haven't checked out the new one yet, Crack The Skye, DO IT NOW! It COMPLETELY reshaped my thoughts on sludge metal (I guess I'd call them that? Don't really know what else, maybe besides blue-grass metal haha).
Rick you need to settle the f*** down. Maybe I'm missing something, but calling branded Nubbins actually has no point to it. Where is the joke in it? It's not funny and doesn't even make sense.

Well it seems that everyone has found the new chatroom ;-)
ap1 - I guess the same would go for La. too... Never made a stop, only drove through areas
either one of those states..?
Red - Damn glad to read ya man..! Hope all is well for you the missus and lil Red..?!!
Bg1 - Hey man, Im deep into answering a pile of emails so I might be able to get at those Triumph tunes a little later in the day.?
branded - I think I changed myspace settings yesterday..?
Now eating - Left over tater soup.. And its even better today :)

Saw mastadon last year at mayhem...they didnt blow me away live but they got some decent material,....as for the bear wrestler up there you missed a ton, and if you knew who nubbins was and you looked at the person you defending, you might get it, i also apollogized to the site and all of its members ( except 1 of coarse) so do a little homework on other threads and you would have seen it already

Mornin', metalheads.
Gotta agree with IWABO. Crack the Skye is an incredibly dense and layered excursion. VERY impressed. I do think some fans will disagree as it seems they forewent alot of their usual metalcore elements to explore a more spaced out sound. The vocal melodies take some getting used to, but after a few listens I think lyrically and vocally this is some of their best work.
As a fan of early prog and the current trends in prog-metal I'm extremely pleased with it. I've been saying for a while this was the logical progression of their sound. One of the most creative and intelligent forces in metal.

rick, you just told a someone who knows me quite well to do research. you are the one who needs to research this site. iwresltedabearonce, jake, was just like you in the past. he and i went at it for weeks. then we had a civilized conversation and now we have no probs with the other at all. once again, you have opened your di(ksuckers about something you have no idea what you are talking about!!
all you are doing is making more and more people here see you as a moronic jackoff. you think you are actually getting people on your side, when in fact they are laughing at you for your complete stupidity!
27. writes:
^Saw mastodon live at Mayhem, didnt care for em. Tried checking out music videos, didnt like em. Listened to a few reccommended songs, and besides "March of the Fire Ants", didnt like any of em.
then I gave this new album a listen. f*** me, it's awesome.
As intensely into grindcore and experimental death metal as I am, this band hasnt caught my attention until they almost entirely shred their metal sound. How the hell does that happen? lol

The reason I say this, is because just the other day, they realized that their birhtdays...are 6 days apart. And they've been friends for 6 years. So they both started a party on each day at 6 oclock to make the number complete.

Bean haters: Go to the pet store and buy a mouse. They will go through your pieces and pull out all the beans. It's actually pretty amazing to watch them reach into a piece with thier little paws and pull out a bean without destroying the piece in the process. You have to feed them beans for a couple of weeks first but after the've grown a taste for it they're trained and ready to pluck your beans and won't eat your pieces. I had two of them back when I was in high school. It works.

Thanks, Branded and Netromancer. I guess it's just a combination of things... the whole Aunt Flow thing, I had 2 big tests today, this burn pisses me off... I guess it's not mostly those things, but I feel also that someone really important to me in my life is drifting away from me. I think I'm getting sort of okay with it, but I was really upset earlier. Not really a "sickness" but more of me just being so upset about it. This is probably the only person I'd cry about losing. You know how, no matter what, there's always that one person that you can talk to about everything and they won't judge you? Well, that was her. We were always there for each other and now I might lose her. I guess I'll get over it over time... Sorry if I got a bit emotional here, I'm just so all over the place lately.

Shred, I just turned 5 again and took a hot bubble bath. It smelled so good and it was really relaxing :) I'm glad that after two months of running around like a rat, things are finally looking up for me. It was a nice trip down memory lane today to revisit the part of downtown where my parents made their first mark in this city. I can't believe it was over 6 years ago that we ventured these mountains.... it's incredible. If it weren't for that store we owned, we'd have never came here, and I'd still be living in a forest city, and would've thus never met my best friend, maybe never would've got into metal (and as a result, probably wouldn't be on this site)... so many things may have not happened to me if it weren't for that silly little store! lol.

Dudes, the kid has some kind of behavioral or bi-polar disorder. It's most likely an emotional or chemical imbalance. He gets a feeling of empowerment or happiness when he posts here.
He started as if he wanted to be a positive member of the site. He kept talking really well about all the other members, saying how much respect he has for the site. A few members have tried to get him to calm down, but that just feeds his feelings of alienation so he lashes back with insults, saying stuff like we "don't understand what he's trying to do" and "it's for the good of the site". He uses terms like "myopic" in a way that intones short-sightedness, as if he has some kind of agenda or plan for the site, and follows it up by saying he will "destroy" Branded. Showing just how seriously he takes all this interaction.
He's shown many times that he feels his posts are much more important or meaningful than they truly are, and doesn't get it when people say the situation is rediculous. Negative attention is attention too, and he twists what people say into something that (in his mind) justifies whatever it is he's trying to do here. It's all a bit f***ing weird really.
He did the same thing with Blind last time he was here. He finds one member who said something he didnt like and latches onto them. Talking to the kid is pretty much futile as he won't listen to anything that goes against his view of the situation.
Things like this are done by people who feel their real life is beyond their control. More than likely problems at school or a stressful homelife. He's also already said stuff about his relationship with his mother, as he stated he needed to return her IPhone before she knew it was gone. I would doubt that he has many friends. Kids tend to stray away from this kind of behavior just like adults, it's uncomfortable to talk to someone who feels so strongly about things, yet seems irrational at the same time. This site is a place where he feels he can actually make people notice him, or threaten others and have no physical repurcussions for what he says.
I've dealt with many kids like this. The biggest problem is that these type of personalities crave attention, yet tend to alienate those who give it, and thereby making others into the "bad guy". He's said to me a few times before that I "don't speak his language" whenever I've tried to smooth things over. Showing a distinctive hostility toward anthing that threatens his view of himself and others.
To make a long story more long, there's really no talking to him. The kid needs meds.

Back... the restaurant had to close early today, since everything was going much slower than expected. At one point he asked me a bit about myself and my life since things were going real slow and we were both bored, and he was like "What?! You look older than that. I thought you'd be married or something and had maybe a kid." "Sir, did you basically just call me fat? 'Cause if you did..." "No, I didn't call you fat! You just look and sound older than you're saying..." LOL. I like this guy already! It was an interesting first day of working with him.

Can you calculate the exact date and time of said madness occurring?
lol kidding
I think I am gonna go mad though... 'cause my mom just lost a verrrrry important part of this Asian night gown of mine which I love so much. Gaaah! And the ship I'm considering working on board has an HR person who seems to be impossible to reach, or perhaps her phone is not working and she somehow does not realize it.
337. writes:
Why yes, I can give you the exact time I went mad. It was at 2:03pm, October, 10th, 1984. Might have been before that, but can't be sure. *LOL* What was your Mom doing with your gown? More to the point, does she try to do your laundry along with trying to tell you whom to associate with?
338. writes:
hahaha maybe the madness developed while you were in the womb!
I dunno what she was doing... and yea she does tell me those things. Even tried to get me to stop seeing my closest friend. She actually doesn't even know about my boyfriend right now, 'cause knowing her she'd be all like "he has no future" or "no potential" or things of that nature... but the guys that supposedly DO have potential or a future, according to her, are the ones who are just so damned boring and dry to me, lol. It doesn't affect me so much now because I know what I want.
340. writes:
Because I've got some courses I need to finish here, and they end at late June. I think I can deal with things 'til then. Remember, I have a lot of things I'm trying to juggle, so it'd be hard for me to have more work hours while doing stuff for school and generally just trying to not f*** up badly, lol. Plus, it's hard to find work that pays well enough for me to leave right now. I'm figuring things out so hopefully I can save money until school ends, then I'm gonna leave and figure sh** out from there. Hopefully I get a job at one of the ships I'm trying to work at. But right now it's important for me to save and just not leave until early July ('cause before then, I'd be getting my things ready). More than likely I'm either gonna live on a ship or live in an apartment with some roomies who would probably be some close friends.

Hope everything works out for you IN.
My wife who for some reason I can't comprehend, loves me enough to go out today and buy me a bad a$$ IPOD. I'm in the process of transfering all most of my music right now. I just mentioned it like last night, and today, as she was buying a new bad set for the boy, went and got it for me. After I kissed her and told her she was nuts, she said she knew I would need it, because I'm deploying at the end of April. Our anniversary is in July. I really gotta step up my game, as I'll be getting back right before our anniversary. The woman just loves me too much. I guess I'm proof that even an a$$hole like me can be loved.
342. writes:
I hope it does, too! I'm putting a bit of a risk, though a heavily calculated one, on all this. My bf is already calling me a future pirate, XD
That was nice of your wife to do that :) And you're not an a$$hole. If you're an a$$hole, then I'm a mega a$$hole, and I know I'm not THAT much of an a$$hole :P

I just made love to Sven again. Words are weak to how making love to him makes me feel. He is next to my own birth, family, metal, and religion the best thing to ever happen to me, and in no particular order! HAIL SVEN!

Glad to hear it, Kali, though since I first heard you talk about Sven I think most of us could already see where it was going. My wife and I were very good friends before we got together as well, and it just seemed like the next logical step.
People say "opposites attract", but I think that's for the short term. A long-lasting relationship needs that common ground for you both to grow in. (yeah, cheesy way to say it , but true :) My wife and I have alot in common with our heritage, interests, hobbies, and beliefs, and after 14 years still get asked by strangers if we are a new couple because we are so close. Hope it's the same with you two. Wish you both the best.

War sucks. The main reason is those that decide on war are the same ones that are the furthest away from the effects of it. I guarantee that if those that decide to go to war actually had to take part in the war, there wouldn't be that many wars. The elitest pricks that weasel their way into government and make the common folk sacrifice are the cause of it all. But the real crime is that it is us common folk that keep voting for these same pricks who will spend our lives like worthless fodder.
It's time to rise up and refuse to vote for the two warmongering elitest parties. Any vote for Democrat or Republican is a vote for perpetual war.
Rise up. REFUSE!
Vote Libertarian.

Thanks, Netro. Sven, and I are good to go pretty much in every way. We have slightly different beliefs, but we have an accord with religion. He does thank god, but he also thanks Satan, Thor, and all of his pagan/Asatru gods, and goddess as well. There have been times in which he was looking for any deity that would get him out of some very hairy situations in his life. He is a war vet many times over, so I kind of don't blame him. On the interests side we have pretty much everything in common. He has excellent taste, and we even eat pretty much the same things. I am happy, and content. I am glad to hear that you, and the Valkyrie(sp?) have been going strong for so long. Being good friend’s first is what really helps the relationship be strong. You know what to expect, and can either take it, or leave it.
Bolt, war is a necessary evil. Humanity will never agree to dis-agree, and go to great lengths to make their point known, and done. I am proud of my soldier’s, and the price I pay for not choosing the hippy side of life is that I surround myself with soldiers. Sending them to war is bitter sweet. I feel proud, yet worried that I will never see them again. I just have to keep in mind that, and hope for the best.
360. writes:
War isn't necessary, but it's gonna happen. Anyone who thinks that war will end completely is silly, but anyone who doesn't do something to try to stop problems outside of their own once in a while is a selfish and cowardly bastard. If you're not doing something to alleviate war or some other worldly problem that doesn't concern yourself, then you might as well not exist. The military is a double-edged sword, and I see soldiers and anyone in the military as no more important than a regular person who tries to contribute to society in positive ways.

364. writes:
Well, in that case it's gotta happen, but when I'm saying it's not necessary, I'm saying that we don't USUALLY need it to happen. This war in my home country, for example, was unnecessary to begin with. It was started on a foundation of lies. Sometimes the military does good things, sometimes it does bad. This is why I feel quite neutral about it.
366. writes:
I had clarified myself in my last post. When I said it wasn't necessary, I meant most of the time, the reasons for it aren't good and so on a general scale, it isn't necessary. If we're gonna get specific: on some cases, it is necessary. But I was being general.
No, I wasn't born in Armenia. I was born in Iraq. My mother is Armenian, and my dad is Arabic.
367. writes:
WOW! So, the very fact that women were not being treated with an ounce of dignity in Iraq means nothing to you? Yes, Bush's reasons for the war were not completly honest, but the war in Iraq DID need to happen. Go take a deeper look into your home country, then cxome tell me that Iraq was just fine before the war.
368. writes:
It does mean a lot to me, but most of this war was not to help the women. Many of my people died because of lies, and that's why on a large scale, it was unnecessary. A war which strongly faught for equality for women there would be different to me. Had things actually started on truth, I would've been just fine, but it is all one big fat lie. Don't tell me to take a deeper look into my country when I know it better than 99% of all the people I meet. This "war on terrorism" never needed to happen, but a war for democracy did. They are two different wars in my eyes. Lies do not build real peace.
369. writes:
You truly are delutional! I hope for your sake you wake up. You really think your home country didn't need to be wiped away from Al Queda, and that Sadam, and his son's didn't need to be taken care of? Just because the figure head to congress in America doesn't declare war to tell all the gory details doesn't make the war unnessicary. Then again, if you are truly happy in your opinion then I guess thats fine. I just think you are kind of a moron.
370. writes:
I do think they needed to be taken care of, but I am saying the way things were handled just made even more problems. If you truly think I am "kind of a moron," then I guess there's just no need to discuss this further. Try being a refugee of the Gulf War and having lived with the effects of it for many years of your life, then say the same things you just said and call me a moron.
372. writes:
Actually, it officially ended in 1995. I was born in 1990. If you must know, I actually had a very small chance of living because my family became so poor by the whole thing that my mother was starving heavily while she was pregnant with me. Since my father was involved in the war for about 6 years when he was forced into the military by the government, and since it was nearly impossible to escape, it was actually a miracle that any of us were alive, especially myself. I don't know if you knew, but children can develop memories about death, and I was nearly shot at several times.

I was in the service at the time but didn't serve in the actual 1991 Gulf "War". It was a mistake. It was a mistake on both sides. Iraq had no business taking over Kuwait. Hussein just saw an opportunity to increase his influence in the region. Yet, America had no right in trying to pick sides in the conflict. It was just an opportunity for Bush Sr. to attempt to increase America's influence in the region.
American government thinks that America is dependent on oil. That's because American government isn't truly American. True Americans will find alternatives. Take something away, we WILL find another way. We don't need oil, not in the long run. There are many other forms of energy to exploit.
The Iraq wars have done nothing but to kill and maim innocents and create even more enemies. We all need to get back to the founder's ideal of "free trade with all, entangling treaties with none."

Dope was ok, couple songs anyway. i've seen hundreds of bands play live but never heard anyone say f*** as much as edsel dope did in a 30 minute set. first half of the set was boring for the most part, then got better with Die MF Die and Addiction.
Sevendust may have stolen the show. i'm not being a bias fan. huge pit from the 2nd song they played til the last note of face to face. singer was wearing his BLS vest. played a medly of Master of Puppets and Walk. Dude I was part of several freaky things today but this freaked me out the most.
Firstly, I have to mention what happened BEFORE the incident. I was heading to the gym as usual and what appeared to be some punk kid was pleading at me for something, but I just turned on my mp3 player and walked away. I felt like a jerk for that because later, I walked to my bus stop and I saw this girl with makeup running down all over her face because she was crying a lot, then that same guy was like "please, do you have a bus ticket? She's really hungry, and she needs to see her dad! Please!" I was freaking out. I gave them a ticket, but the sight of that girl just scared the daylight out of me, especially since she looked about my age. Apparently, I misjudged that fellow and he was only trying to help that girl. What a nice person. I felt like a jerk though. I'll never make that mistake again.
So, how's everyone else this evening?
422. writes:
lol... on the brighter side, you know what else that happened that was really freaky? When I was changing my clothes at the gym, some woman was looking at me while I was naked and complemented my legs, and I was laughing while thinking "what the f*** am I supposed to say." I just said "thanks." I dunno, never had an old lady check me out before LOL

I think I am a very good friend, because I took my best friend's rabbits when I discovered she wasn't allowed to have 'em around anymore. I think I do care about sh** outside of myself, and you're just some crazy b**** that likes to spend too much time analyzing the lives of people which she barely knows. @ #468 Hey man, don't encourage it. Mostly I just think that this is absolutely bloody retarded and I just don't care for it. Yea, I make jokes about race, but it's not like I actually give a damn about another person's race. For example, I make fun of Blindgreed's whiteness, but I think he's a totally cool dude. Heck, my closest friend is the whitest person on the planet. I call Shredder, GoreGrinder (we talk in email a lot), and Jenny Mexican'ts all the time, but only as a joke. I actually enjoy talking to them a lot. Heck, Shredder has asked me to tell him some funny racist jokes about Mexicans before. I get lots of funny jokes about being Arab and such, but that's all it is - a joke. And whoever doesn't get that is already lost.

And before anybody says I'm a racist loser with a million zits and no life for reading all your sh**, lemme tell you : I don't have school today and I might go for a swim later with my girl, who is in fact, dark.
There's a difference between a -friendly-(lotsa stress on this word) racist joke and calling France a country full o' wussy c***s (plain f***in ignorance). Yeah, you know who I'm talking to.
472. writes:
You're not a racist loser with no life. You seem normal to me. A wise man once said that wise people only speak of what they know, and that's dead on. People who are afraid of being called stupid are unwise, and thus are usually the ones pretending to know what they don't.
We all have our different limits in terms of racial jokes, but my measure is that if the person receiving the said joke isn't offended, then why should I be? I'd just be an a$$hole that gets angry for no reason, AKA like those angsty "mommy hurt my feelings" preteens.

So guess what I just found out? I called the restaurant back to talk to them, but they said they "made a mistake." How can that be when they supposedly specifically asked for me on Wednesday? Wait, Wednesday was April Fool's.... lol.... That's cruel and unusual. I like that. XD

Bruno: I am well my friend. How have you been brother? I'm actually excited about judging a rock crawling contest this weekend. I went out yesterday and looked at the obstacle course and I can tell you with certainty that there will be many 4 wheelers upside down in Tucson this weekend. \m/\m/!!! Total destruction is such a rush!

BlindGreed- I have been extremely busy, havent't checked any e-mails until today or even hooked up my laptop. I owe Godlike and you an e-mail. I will hopefully get the home computer up and workig tomorrow and hope to send them out then. Oh yeah, I converted to Islam.

BlindgReed- Oh, that contest sounds like fun! I love off-roading, but doesn't every red blooded American? The offroad racing circuit makes their annual stop at the LA County fairgrounds in Pomona and I have gone in previous years. I had a blast everytime, except one time I got a sunburn so bad I had to go to urgent care, LOL.

Also, Husseinalugie, I responded to your email.
I'm also reminded of something really cheesy I saw a week ago, oddly. There's a church here that always has stupid sayings on a sign right by it, and this saying made me giggle: "God always answers knee-mail." Dude, how gay is that?

IN: You know it's not nice to make fun of blind people don't you? It's so much harder for me to keep up with the boards because my brail printer has to print the entire thread everytime I respond so I really don't appriciate your humor. Blindreed indeed. lol.

You're still not convincing me, because one time you folks on here were curious about what I looked like, and I remember you were saying some stuff that a person who IS blind would have no reason to say. I may occasionally be a bit of a goof, but I ain't dumb.
Dude, why did I just say "ain't"? lol...

Also, just to let you guys know. I have taken the offer from beyondthedarkhorizion .com to write for them. I maybe a ton busy with them getting their review's writen, interviews, and gig reviews done. My new site is under a re-vamp, and I will be helping them be a bit more... uh... honest so to speak. OH Sven is home! *grins*

Hey guys, I have a proposal (not that kind) for anyone who's interested: Bleak Art Records is welcoming anyone who wants to review for them, and I'll forward information to anyone who seems serious enough. www.bleakartrecords.com is their website. They have mostly black metal at this point, so I guess this would more-so be for black metal fans. However, I'm mostly going for the reviewers on MU. I can't be bugged to do this, so I told the owner I'd look for other people.
They are also considering opening a retail location in Montreal.

hahaha so a funny thing happened today (my life is NEVER dry of humour), and I just have to tell you guys about it. You will lol.
I went to the Tim Hortons in the downtown square today, and I see this guy in front of me at the lineup who was particularly handsome. So naturally, like any other female, I take a glance at him. Then his friend is like, "Oh sorry young lady, was I in your way?" Then I shook my head, and the cute one looks at a girl from across the place in a cold manner and after a while says to his friend, "I am NOT going back to jail because of that c***." I wanted to laugh hard aaaahahah I always encounter the crazy folks.

Sup fvckers. I just got back from the rock crawling competition and let me tell you... It was fvcking bad a$$!!! I can't wait to go back tomorrow to judge the shootout. You can check out some of today's action at werocklivedotcom. I saw 12 vehicles lifted out with the crane, there were too many upside down vehicles to count and nobody got hurt. All in all, a very cool day! If you guys ever get a chance to see this stuff you shouldn't pass it up.

Every musician should aspire to have such beautiful women cry on their grave. Nice photos. But really, I didn't realize there was a Hendrix memorial.
I suppose Sven already told you that Jimmy Hendrix was Army Airborne for a bit but that he wasn't a very dedicated soldier and was discharged after a pretty short stint.
586. writes:
Kickass, dude! Hendrix was even before even my time so I'm surprised you young'uns know so much about him. But then you did grow up in WA, so maybe it's not that surprising.
In Sven's defense, I doubt the U.S. Army 101st Airbourne Division has a Hendrix memorial. Haahaa!!
588. writes:
True. Did you grow up in Medford? But the closer someone got to Seattle might make them more aware of Hendrix.
I'll have to admit that I bought my first Hendrix tape around 1987 but didn't know he was from Seattle or that he was ever Army Airbourne until just last Thursday! Is that possible? Well, I work with some old-timer music fans that love to spout out music knowledge and the subject of Hendrix came up on Thursday at our after work card game. The next day I did some research on Wikipedia. Hendrix is a complex person. It's too bad he joined the list of young dead musicians.

Here is the blog I posted about the Jimmy visit.
The visit I made to Jimmy Hendrix gravesite...
I have been listening to this wonderful musician named Jimmy Hendrix my entire life, and I am sure that I can safely say that I was listening to him in my awesome Mother’s womb. On April, 4th, 2009 I went to pay homage to his gift of music with none other than my best friend, and black metal god, Sven.
In Washington, we have many places to go to worship on the Jimmy altar, but none compare to his grave site. We have the Hendrix statue (that I do believe should be much larger than it is and think it is not placed well) and we have the shrine in the EMP Experience music project Museum. With a beautifully done white marble dome monument, carved replication of his signature, and benches emblazoned with his wonderful lyric’s it truly is a must stop for any Jimmy fan to visit. I also like that they have ash trays at his grave site. I think in many ways they put a lot of thought into his site, and what Jimmy would want for his fan’s to see when they visited him. I also found it funny that it looks like a few girl’s got so emotional they left lip prints on Jimmy’s picture. *laughs* There is also plenty of parking as well. Even the rest of the Greenwood Memorial park is worth seeing. The staff does a wonderful job keeping the grounds very clean, and neat. I am very glad that the Hendrix family gave him a better burial. It’s great to see them do something for Jimmy other than sucking off his name with Vodka. I am sure that I will be visiting him more often, and glad I went with Sven.
The weather was even perfect to see him. It wasn’t too hot, nor cold with no rain to ruin the pictures Sven took. You can check them out here: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewPicture&friendID=201354579&albumId=1740895

lol okay I mentioned this story before but there's this girl who's scared of me and today she asked me "Why don't you ever talk?" And I wanted to laugh. I said "Excuse me?" And she said, "I said why don't you ever talk, retard!" Then I saw her later and I said "Don't you talk to me like that again. That was very rude" Then she whispered something. Haha, serves her for being a smartass against an even bigger smartass.

You will not believe what just happened about 25 minutes ago. This telemarketer calls me and I do not know the answers to her questions about my mother's whereabouts, and because I had an acne strip on my chin, I answered quite weakly so as to not allow it to fall. Eventually she says "Umm it sounds like you just woke up so goodbye." AT 6:30 IN THE EVENING?! What a flat-out b****!

BG, that's awesome (post 625)
Hahahaha so guess what... I went to this burial service place to send my resume. They were talking about how they have to dress the dead bodies, clean them, bury them (a given) and all manner of whackiness... then they asked me, "Are you comfortable with carrying a dead body?" And I said yes :P But it was a question I'm never asked XD. It threw me in the face for a moment. They talked about how the people they bury sometimes "died in a messy manner." Sweet.

FAN - Hey buddy... no hurries.!! Glad to know your digging the effort at least.... And thats really cool that your buddies even like it too \m/ \m/
Dont be letting anyone steal those ideas tho ;-)
It seems, that there is such a drastic difference between the guitars Ive used to record, as far as sound quality and clarity. ??
My Nightswan sounds really good with the EMGs, but for some reason my Les Paul has such a fuller sound..?? Those two songs you heard are with those two different guitars..
For that last recording, we added a mic, hanging from the ceiling to capture all the damn cymbals...
The guy is playing on a 70s Ludwig double bass kit.. 4 toms across the top, two floor toms, and 8 different sized cymbals... That kit is SO sweet..!!
Last weekend, we were able to record a half dozen more songs... let me know when your ready to listen to some more..?
Sorry, that the drums came out SO loud... Hell, Im just using the two built in mic's ... we're still experimenting with finding the "sweet spot" ??

Mornin everyone....So whats on the agenda for today..?
I spent a couple hours yesterday/last night preparing the ol muscle car to come out of its winter
storage... even took her out for a little spin... WOW... such power ;-)
That slogan that Pontiac uses " We build excitement" is SO true.. or at least it was back then..!!
ap1 - Im not quite sure how to take that "creamy spiritualness" comment... lol
branded - I should be able to send something your way... I still havent transferred the last two weeks of recordings to my laptop...
Being that I record from start to finish, that means I have to go back and separate each track individually and then Im able to send it...??
At this point in time, I have over 2hrs worth of recordings to break into separate tracks...
Bummer, thats a time consuming venture :(
