Necrophagist and Origin alone makes me want to go.
Then I remember that the lead singer to Darkest hour looks EXACTLY like my friend pete, so I can get backstage if he pretends to be him. So I HAVE to go just for the hilarity of that situation.
They better mean "American" summer slaughter, because I know there was an Aussie one a bit back, so this could be a europe or asian tour for all I know... :P
^necrophagist, seriously. classically trained guitarist(think malmsteen), who decided to play death metal. disregarding the vocals, which really arent that bad, just generic death metal growling, whatever, the music, the guitar playing specifically, is eons beyond fantastic.
Check out the song Epitaph and tell me you dont want to giggle at how much the guy likes to use pinch harmonics. It makes Zakk Wylde look like a conservative pinch Harmonic player
Darkest hour sounds nothing like any other band on here; one of the few melodic death metal bands that doesnt sound like an "In Flames" or "At the Gates" rip-off. Definetely not something I would call mic-in-the-mouth nonsense.
Origin is the angriest thing in music short of Converge right now, and they're technical as hell irregardless to how fast they're playing.
Everything elso on the bill though, even if I liked them(I do enjoy a few more of em) I would definitely not argue with the MicInMouth argument. But then again, you can call almost every death metal band ever that. :P

To Breathe In a Casket is one of my top 2 Necrophagist songs ever!!! I just saw Suffocation last night and they NEVER dissapoint!!!!!!! Seriously can't wait for this tour, and its coming to Northern California cuz Frank from Suffocation mentioned it last night.
