Korn Singer Jonathan Davis Speaks On Limp Bizkit Reunion

Band Photo: Korn (?)
Korn's lead vocalist Jonathan Davis recently did an interview with the Pulse Of Radio. During the conversation, the topic of the reunion of old friends Limp Bizkit was brought up. Here's what he had to say on the matter:
"I just hope Fred just isn't an asshole like he usually is. We'll see what happens, hopefully Fred's got it together, 'cause there was one time when Fred was a really cool guy.
"The fame hit and went to his head. So I miss the old Fred," he added. "He was my buddy. So maybe he's humbled now and if he's like that then I'd definitely hang with him and be friends with him again."
Both bands will be performing at the UK's Download Festival this year and Limp Bizkit aare currently a big rumour for the Family Values tour.

I'm with Psythe and F_A_N.
I got into the first two Korn albums, and the first Limp Bizkit album connected (for some strange reason) with me just before I really started to find underground metal and off the radar "alternative".
Limp Bizkit should have waited another couple years for people to "miss" them.
Hard to sell tickets for a "Where Are They Now?" band during the worst economic crisis any of us will ever see.
Now Playing: Steven Wilson - "No Twilight within the Courts of the Sun"...wow...Porcupine Tree fans NEED this album.

FAN -- Lmao! Obscura f***ing owns, by the way. Can't think of which song it is, but I love the bass solo on track 5 of "Cosmogenesis."
As far as Korn or Limp Bizkit goes, well.. I think everybody knows my opinion if they've ever read one of my arguments with KORNDOGG. Speaking of, where is he? Hahaha..
Now playing: Judas Priest - "Screaming for Vengeance"

Korn's first album sounds like sh** now. That sludgy, gravely sound...URGH. LIP was waay better. It is undisputedly, the best nu-metal album. Az for limpbizkit, they suck azz.
""I just hope Fred just isn't an a$$hole like he usually is. We'll see what happens, hopefully Fred's got it together, 'cause there was one time when Fred was a really cool guy."
^Funny as f*** when you imagine Davis saying that in his overgrown-12-year-old-girl voice.

TOG!! Long time no see man! yeah, just recently found obscura because every time I looked up something about necrophagist(who I also just started listening to), they were mentioned, so i looked it up...and I decided those are some b****in tunes man haha
The bass playing in the band definintely hit me good too. Fretless bass players always make me randy lol I have to buy their cd, but I'm waiting for my Pig Destroyer album to come in the mail(their latest one) first before I get anything else.
If anything, the Faceless and Origin cd's I just bough are keeping me happy for a bit. :)
I DO however, have a problem with this:
James44: I like slipknot, but i dont like nu hahahahaahahahahahah slipknot is a half grindcore+ a half heavymetal in my opinion
IDIOT. grindcore. you dont even deserve to speak the f***ing word grindcore if that's what you think it is. Slipknot is real angry nu-metal. Keep your fag-music away from my coveted genre, you moron.
Now Playing: Origin- Wrath of Vishnu( I REEALLY like this song, to the point that I play it constantly when I'm on this site lol)

Of all the nu-metal crop I find Slipknot among the least repulsive, however they're about as far from grindcore as Limp Bizkit is from metal (i.e. light years).
FAN
ORIGIN!!!! "Antithesis" is my favorite track off that album, my god that song is f***ing HUGE! big finish too!

FAN -- Pig Destroyer's latest, "Natasha" is definitely a crossover into doom territory. I like doom metal too, so that doesn't bother me, but a lot of people were disappointed and angry. I'll let you form your own opinion, though. My only complaint is that it's just one long song, not divided into parts.

Hell yeah RM? I was just saying like a week ago, that that song was one of the few songs approaching ten minutes in length, that managed to hold my attantion the entire way through. No small feat, considering I cant even stand songs longer than 5 minutes most of the time. By the way, is this their latest album? I just saw it on the store shelf and snatched it, I had no idea where it is in their discography. :P
TOG: Natasha is their new album? I'm still waiting for Phantom limb! My, I'm behind the times Arent I? lol I'll more than likely pick it up. I just started looking into more doom bands, and finding that I liked the genre more than I thought, so... one of my favorite bands of all time covering a genre of metal I'm slowly garnering fascination in, is sure to be interesting.
so that I'm still on topic....f*** Fred Durst
