Decapitated's Vogg has issued the following update regarding the search for new members:

"I was thinking about that for a long time and it’s really hard decision for me, but I have decided to continue this band and keep Decapitated alive. I know it will be not the same anymore but I want to try and I’m sure Witek and Covan will support me and will be happy about that"

"If anybody from drummers and vocalists feel that they can continue what Witek and Covan did and put all power, energy and live time for this band - contact me- decapitatedband@gmail.com"

"Everyone who is interested, please prepare this tracks as audiovideo format:

long desired dementia"

Just watch, it happens with EVERY decapitated thread, and this one will definitely get that kind of comment.

I'm personally happy for them. I enjoyed the band as a whole, not just the drummer, though he was and is the sh**(RIP), and I'll look forward to whatever they do. I mean, one of the best ACDC albums ever was the one they wrote in tribute following Bon Scott's death. there's a chance this may be their best stuff if they do it right.

It will be an interesting listen if an album is produced in seeing what new elements are brought to the table by new members. I doubt anything will compare to the origional Decapitated lineup but nothing stays the same forever.
