Heavy metal singer and movie director Rob Zombie is currently filming the sequel to "Halloween." A brief update from him reads as follows: "Well, we made it through the first three days (of filming the sequel to Halloween, H2). Everything is going great. This film is going to blow away my last trip to Haddonfield. Ultra gritty, ultra intense and very real."

Lumpus - I agree that remakes are out of control...but at least Zombie used Chop Top (Bill Moseley) from TCM 2 in 1000 Corpses and Rejects. "Dog will hunt!!!"

The reason why u are seeing so many remakes come back is because all the horror movies made say the past 15 years or so have all sucked.....these remakes where popular and original,....yet cheesy but better than of late.....its also good to see tcm halloween and fri 13 come back because they where great horror franchises that all ended piss poor.....i m mean embarrasing.....fri 13 7-10 and freddy vs jason where crap....h20 and resurrection....crap....tcm 3- whatever crap....its good to see these franchises come back and get the recognition they had in the beginning

who knows at some point everything gets repetitive. its not always that easy to create an entirely new horror script. i tried n realized that comedy is much easier then horror.
