First Bands Announced For Download Festival 2009

The first batch of bands have been announced for Britain's Download Festival. Slipknot appear to be one of the three headliners and will be joined by The Prodigy, Motley Crue, Korn, Dragonforce, DevilDriver and Pendulum. According to Scorpio PR, Limp Bizkit, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, God Forbid, Lamb Of God and Marilyn Manson will also appear at the event.

Limp Bizkit's first disc had a couple of alright songs but the last one or two were so poppish and stupid. I remember hearing those song like my way and rollin and thought to myself "what are they thinking?" they dug their own grave but i guess they're getting a 2nd chance.
seeing them playing alongside Devildriver, god forbid and lamb of god is just weird.

Lamb of God arnt playing, Randy said in an interview that there not doing it cause of them plkaying Knebworth.

but all others sound really good so far, Limp Bizkit will be cool inless they do songs liek behind blue eyes and sh** like that lol
Whitesnake will be aweome and Motley crue will be even better
