^which band are you talking about? If you mean Eyes, then yeah, I wasnt quite as interested in their new material than what mildly caught my fancy from their earlier stuff.

If you mean gojira, then I declare witchhunt on you immediatly! their new album is one of my favorites to listen to right now, along with the faceless and behemoth's new albums. Awesome sh** all around.

Haha FAN, I meant tEoaT, the only reason why I don't like the new album is because of the singer's change in vocal styles...I don't like it lol. There first album was so kickass....

For the most part, I like Gojira. Haven't gotten in to them so much that I listen to them on a daily basis, they are more of a random band for me to listen to every now and then. I def. don't dislike them.

The new Faceless album took me a while to get into, but once I did, it's f***ing badasssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

^as a prog-death fan, the faceless had me the instant I previewed their first song on the cd. Ever since, I've been an avid fan.

and yeah, i noticed that too about Eyes, even though i dont listen to them enough to really get a feel for their songs, and that was probably part of the reason I dont so much like them anymore. that, and the guitar riffs sounded WAAAAY too happy and cheerful for the mood I'm in right now. then again, Once upon a time i was a huge Shadows Fall fan, so that doesnt really mean I WON'T listen to them anymore, just probably not for a loooonnnngggg While lol.

Gojira....Probably one of my favorite new bands. when i first heard them, i had like two songs by them, and didnt really care for them too much either, but then i heard Heaviest Matter in the universe, followed by their new album, and damn....I love it all now. I guess it's like Opeth. you have to hear that one song that grabs your attention, and then the rest of the music makes sense to you why it's so great. Regardless, I can completely understand if they arent entirely your thing, considering youre more of a metal/death core seeming kind of guy; Im simply astonished you listen to Gojira at all, considering they arent at all like any of the bands I know you listen to. lol

hahahahahaha yeahhhhhhhhhhhh. I actually have a huge variety of metal tastes, lol. Like most people, it really just depends on my mood.

I'll check out more of Gojiras songs and see if I find that one song. It can't hurt can it?

Nope it can't hurt! Gojira is also one of my favorite newer bands, although I was hooked right away. Saw them open for Lamb of God and they did not disappoint! You can really hear the intricacy of their music then.
