Recent band movement
- Shadows Fall has confirmed that they are parting ways with drummer David Germain due to artistic differences. Germain will perform his last show with Shadows Fall on May 4 at L'Amours in Brooklyn (Candiria's record release show).
- Geoff Tate, the Queensryche vocalist, will be making his solo debut in Seattle on June 1 - his band is rounded out by the following musicians: Chris Fox , Scott Moughton, Jeff Carrel, and Evan Shiller.
- Drummer Alsvid (Seth) has joined Entroned.
- The Sins of Thy Beloved has cut new vocalist Hege-Marie Anaby as "the band did not manage to collaborate very well with her." As a result, the recording of the new album will be delayed.
- Former Burn It Down vocalist Ryan Downey has joined the band Time in Malta.
- Burnt by the Sun has replaced the recently departed Paul Miller on guitar with Chris Rascio (Time's Up).
- Transport League's bassist Ken Sandin has left the group. A search for his replacement is underway.
- The new band, SECTOR 9, is made up of ex-Crimson Glory members Wade Black (v), Ben Jackson (g) and Jesse Martillo (d) and also include ex-Juliet / Naked School Girls guitarist Jimmy Delisi
