Flowing Tears Part with Vocalist

Flowing Tears have parted ways with singer Stefanie Duchene. Stefanie wants to focus on private things in the future and couldn't combine that with the band's touring and recording plans any longer – so both sides decided that it would be the best for all to go separate ways.

To avoid any rumors: this is NOT the end of Flowing Tears – on the contrary: we took this hard decision with the future of the band in mind.

In the meantime we have started testing possible new singers – so everybody who might be interested in becoming Flowing Tears' new voice should send an e-mail with info etc. to: mail@flowingtears.com.

The following is a statement from the band:

“Stefanie has changed priorities in her life during the last 12 months, so we all decided that it would be the best to part as long as this is possible without affecting the band's way or our friendship.

As already mentioned in the official press news, this is NOT the end of Flowing Tears. The decision to part ways with Stefanie was a hard one for all of us, and the reason why we did it was to enable the band to go on.

We have already written half the new album, and we are convinced that the new stuff is by far the best we've ever written.

Currently we are looking for a new singer, and as soon as we've found a new vocalist who both musically and personally fits into Flowing Tears we'll continue our way at 120%!!!!!

We'll definitely record the new album within this year and we'll back back on stage with our new singer as soon as possible.

Stefanie: we wish you all the best for your future!

We'll be back to you all with better news soon! ;-)"
