Download Festival Issues Warning Over Fake Tickets

The organizers of Britain's biggest rock festival, Download has posted the following message online concerning fake concert tickets:

"Playing the role of your virtual internet mother this year, we want you to take care from online fraudsters. A number of bogus festival ticket websites have surfaced recently aiming to dupe the festival goer into paying for non existent tickets! THIS being one of the main offenders.

"SO, LET US MAKE THIS QUITE CLEAR:

"NO TICKETS are currently available for this year’s Download Festival. Tickets will not go on sale until early February. When they do go on sale - you'll hear about it right here first!"

I'm glad they let people know; that would suck major nads if people ordered 'tickets'. Screw all the fraudsters.
