Megadeth Frontman Posts Another Album Update

Megadeth are currently hard at work on a brand new studio album and they've made sure everyone knows about it. Frontman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message online:

"Droogies!

"I have just determined whilst listenening down to the songs that I have miscounted and we don't have the 13 that I thought we had, and that we only have 12 songs. I guess we had one song written down under two different names, and what a let-down. Either way, I was thrashing to this new stuff, and except the songs that are intentionally slower in certain parts, this is a rather jaunty little record.

"We are just about ready to send Shawn home from doing his drum tracks, which means in real fuzzy math, that we are almost 25% done with the recordings. Now we just need to continue to structure the songs for lyrics, and solos and we are done!

"Please keep your fingers crossed that we will be able to get this sucker in the pipeline at Roadrunner before we leave for Priest Feast!

"Until then, I am going to working my ass off. Here's to asslessness everywhere!!!"
