Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has posted the following message online:

"I remember when I first started to hear all of the shit around the number 13. It meant that you were now a teenager as far as I was concerned as a kid, but then there was that dark side.

"There was the dark side that was associated with 'bad luck,' and an even worse and darker side; the 'marijuana' connection. But I want to tell you about the song 'Song 13 idea.' This is quite possibly going to be my favourite song on the record (on any Megs record for that matter for a long time coming).

"As of yesterday, Andy Sneap and I have determined that we have the material that we will need to complete the record. Shawn has been able to get some music on this record, as was James, and hopefully Chris will also be able to put some of his original music down.

"The only problem that has arisen so far is the age old rub of incompatibility, and there is that it would HAVE to be Megadeth - as much as any one or all of us is established - we need to make a Megadeth record.

"This is a Megadeth record.

"I will no doubt see some of you this weekend at NAMM, and until then."

LOL. I was thinking two things 1) how many updates can one band produce? and 2) it's actually short enough to be read!

So if Megadeth continues cranking out an update a day, perhaps they will all be readable since they can't possibly have THAT much to say every day.
