Rob Zombie has been confirmed as writer and director of "H2," the sequel to the Halloween remake. He has issued the following update about the movie:

"FX master Wayne Toth is back to work creating the latest and greatest version of Michael Myers for H2. Here is an exclusive sneak peek at some early pics of the mask in it's clay sculpt form. If you thought Michael was fucked before, you ain't seen nothing yet! He is bigger, meaner and more psycho than Dr. Loomis ever thought possible."

The mask can be viewed below.

first and foremost great pic of zombie....that being said im decently excited for this movie but i really wish zombie would just focus on making a great new album instead of all this other funny bizz. it just seems like hes never committed 100% to something. the new war zone song was promising but i dont think its gonna be on the album so it problly doesnt matter, but if its a hint on whats gonna be on the new album thats great news...educated horses was kind of a swing and a miss still some good songs tho.

np - zombie "death of it all"

I'm really surprised that everyone is so excited for another Halloween. Why do another? The original cannot be topped why try to remake or reimagine whatever the f*** you want to call it. I like Zombie and his first 2 movies but I would rather see something original like the Tyrannosaurus Rex, biker movie he's been talking about. I really hope whenever he goes back to music he puts out some quality material because everything since hellbilly deluxe has pretty much sucked.

Zombie's Halloween was f***ing terrible. It was such a cliche, so much unnecessary swearing every 5 seconds, the last 20 minutes carbon copied from the original. Give me ANY other Halloween over his piece of sh**, yes even Halloween 3.

Please do not let Zombie continue to butcher this series with his attempt to revive, revamp, and reconfigure the storyline! He is a terrible director and remakes suck.

Personally, I've always been a bigger fan of the old horror movies, so I'll probably not be seeing this one.

Either way, Rob, dude, get some new music out there.

Now playing: Judas Priest - "Victim of Changes"
